I believe last year we had 5 DE's and 4 DT's on the end of year roster. Would it make sense to flip flop this year? I think we can agree that line backing depth has increased. I believe the Giants are only going to take 4 DE's and have Kiwi as an emergency DE if guys go down. Think it's going to be JPP, Tuck, OSI, followed by the best Special team DE, that'll give us 5 spots for a mostly veteran DT. Canty, Joseph, Austin, Bernard, and Rogers. Unless the Giants have glaring special team issues is it necessary to have 5 DE's?? Just rotate the big 3 and use Kiwi as a Tollefson role if you really need him to. Then 8 linebackers (Kiwi, Boley, Rivers, Herzlich, Blackburn, Williams, DeOssie, ???Paysinger/ Jones???), 4 safeties (Phillips, Rolle, Sash, Hill) and 5 CB's (Thomas, Webb, Amukamara, Hosley, Tryon, (Thomas is out move everyone up a slot and add Johnson or Coe) Do these numbers seem right?
Just guessing with the players picked. Am I far off on Rogers? Who am I forgetting?
