A total speculation, based on the last three games. I actually guessed last year and did not miss anyone short of Beckham, who I thoguht would be let go. (not kidding)

SPECIAL TEAMS: 3 - Just getting it out of the way...

No suprises here. Weatherford, Tynes, and DeOssie.

OFFENSE

QB - 2: Manning and Carr - RP I feel has played his last hand and has not provided any challange to David Carr. After two years, it would not suprise me to see them get someone elses castoff this fall.

RB: 4 - Bradshaw, Wilson, Scott... and Ware. I know I am not pleased about it either. but at this point Ware's only push out the door is if someone gets cut from another team better than ware and they serve him walking papers. AB2 is just not any better than Scott (who has speed) and Ware (who hits the holes quicker and is not fat)

Joe Martinek - is a PS player. No one came calling for him before April and May and there are other more servicable backs (2yr or 3 yr pro's) that will get cut that "should" protect him to the PS for the Giants. Plus, I am not sure what his ceiling is so keeping him on the PS for a year would seem likely.

FB: 1 - HH. and we are soooo lucky he picked us.

TE: 3 - Black Unicorn, Adrien Robinson, Bear Pascoe.

Pascoe though will be on the bubble IMHO. I know he is the backup FB, but he may be that "suprise" cut come next week. I honestly think Beckham may not get an IR tag. Even if he does, I think the Giants have to get rid of him one way or the other, he just is too much of a risk.

WR: 6. Nicks, Cruz, Randle, Barden, Hixon, Douglas. JJ12 has played his last days as a Giant unless management make room for him someplace else (and the room is needed on D). Has he regressed? YES. Does he play ST that well? NO, and has shown us this year he does not return kicks. He is fodder. And yes that hurts to type.

If they keep JJ12 and cut Douglas... I fear the mistake there. Hixon can return kicks/punts, but exposing him there will kill the depth behind Nicks and Cruz, as he is the only familiarized pro with a proven track record with Eli.

OL: 9. David Diehl RT, Chris Snee RG, David Bass C, Kevin Booth LG/C, Will Beatty, LT (PUP) Locklear T, Brewer T, Mosely-G/T, Cordle G.

Petrus I think has played himself off the team .... they may make room for him if Beatty is in fact PUP, or worse, though I may be wrong. Likely is Petrus stays (knows system) and Cordle gets cut (PS???).

Honestly I wished Petrus showed the same fire as he did last year in the end of the season/playoffs. I just have not seen it. That may be his doom.

McCants is odd man out and likely going to the PS. Honestly I wished we had done more about the OL over the offseason, but so be it.

DEFENSE

DT: 4 Joeseph, Bernard, Thomas, Hendricks. Canty on hold (PUP). Feel Hendricks gets cut once Canty is off PUP. I think Austin may go on IR (a waste and a setback). If Austin gets PUP'd healthy it would stink to lose both replacement guys, but that is the NFL. Rodgers is cut I think...ouch. That would have been a great story.

Kuhn to PS.

DE: 4 Tuck, JPP, Osi, Ojomo.

Tracy to PS (and I would not be at all suprised if someone picks him up, but hey, Kiwi has played the position a few times or so I am told...).

LB: 7 Boley, Rivers, Herzlich, Jones, Kiwi, Paysinger, Williams. This was 10 minutes of self debate. No way Herz is gonna lose the MLB spot over a limited guy like Chase. There is no way Jones gets cut, unless they try to shelve him on the PS but I don't think he lasts that long in the waters. Chase is expendable. Yes I already hear you, NOOOOO Chase!!! There is just no way they let Jones get cut or PS him. Chase is expendable, and it hurts to write it, but he is packing a bag. Musasau to PS.

CB: 6 - Webster, TT(PUP), Prince A. (PUP), Tryon, Hosley (Day to day??), Coe & DB in camp that will get cut once TT and Prince are back. My hope is that in a week Prince will be back, and the only concern becomes TT and Hosely.

S: 4 - Phillips, Rolle, Hill, FODDER, and then Sash off of the suspension.

Insert gripes here. It wasn't easy, but someone has to go and someone has to stay.
