Jason Babin suffers partial tear of calf muscle - Out 2-3 weeks

Yes, you read that right. Jason Babin, of the Eagles, the guy who had possibly the quietest 18 sack season ever, will most likely miss the entire preseason. With no disrespect to Babin, this is pretty good news for the Giants. We play the Eagles in Week 4, when Babin will still possibly be rusty. Calf injuries generally heal slowly. As a matter of fact, Grade 2 Strains (what Babin has) take around 4-6 weeks to heal. During the recovery process, rest is recommended. After 6 weeks of resting the muscle and icing it, he will be quite rusty. Well, Eli Manning can sleep a little better tonight...
