Remember that discussion we had Monday about mandatory knee, hip and thigh pads. Well, the NFL has made the knee and thigh pads mandatory, but not the hip pads. Apparently, this still has to be discussed with the Players Association before being implemented.
NFL makes it mandatory for players to wear knee and thigh pads starting in 2013.
