Not sure how it will all play out of course, but this is a deep draft from the 32 spot...last year, the QB run dropped Amukamara to the Giants, according to Phil Simms DT Marvin Austin is going to be a very good player, and the run at a deep DT class this year could benefit the Giants. Here I would consider a slight trade up for TE Fleener, and if Keuchly slips to the 20's, I would trade up to get him. if they stay at 32, there is also depth in the 2nd rd., but a nit thin on the O line, and if no trade up in the 1st rd., then I would look hard there at trading up to get an OT. With that, the Giants could ensure they get 2 good starting players, drafting last in the 1st round. I think we are ok at RB. Ware, Scott and if Andre Brown sticks around I feel can team up with Bradshaw in a good way. The biggest problem that TE Bennet had was Witten in front of him in Dallas....for most of his time there, he was a RZ threat, and still if Fleener can be had, that would make an excellent TE combo.
God bless Domenik Hixon.....tremendous speed but 2 major injuries. Last year, I felt he was destined for a breakout, Cruz type of year before being injured, I hope he can still play, and Barden has to carve out a place in camp this year. Also, I have not given up on Jernigan.
Overall with this draft, I feel the Giants can be a better team going into the season then they were last year. That injury run was one of the worst I have seen in following this team for 45 years !
