For those who don't know who John Amabile was, he was a legendary high school football coach in the state of new jersey. During his tenure coaching in the Shore, Amabile's teams went 218-141-8, and won 5 state titles and 9 division titles. i had the pleasure of playing for him for one season and in that one season i got to know a very great man and thank him for all he taught me! i remember him telling me about Victor Cruz a week or so before his breakout pre-season game against the jets. he told me that Cruz would be a stud in the NFL and so far his prediction is spot-on. So Rest In Peace to a great man, high school coaching legend and NY Giant scout John Amabile! thanks for the memories!
