Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post is a lucky man this morning. He had breakfast at the NFL owners' meetings with New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin -- and it seems like Coughlin was in a talkative mood.
I have been re-tweeting some of Hubbuch's stuff at the Big Blue View Twitter page. Here are some of Coughlin's remarks -- which, in Coughlin-speak include what could be considered a couple of shots at the New York Jets.
Coughlin says expects his imminent contract extension to be longer than the 1-year adds he has been getting recently.#Giants

Asked if Tebow trade was a Jets plea for attention, Coughlin says: "New Yorkers know who won the world championship." For TC, that's a zing.

Re: Jets. Coughlin says New Yorkers "don't need the back pages to tell them who won" the Super Bowl. TC is on a roll!

Coughlin says Osi will definitely be a Giant in 2012. "I'm not thinking of anything else" other than Umenyiora returning to the team.

That sure is a mouthful of info shared by TC over a couple of bites of a bagel.
