Jerry Reece an "elite" general manager

e·lite   [ih-leet, ey-leet] Show IPA noun 1. ( often used with a plural verb ) the choice or best of anything considered collectively, as of a group or class of persons. Elite as in hall of fame quality. Certainly applies to Eli also Tom Couglin and not least the general manager. A triumvirate that has formed a dominate team. Contenders since 05 with two titles. On his resume is what many consider the draft of the decade in 07 when all drafted but one not only made the team but contributed mightily to the Cinderella ride to the title. On this year's team Cruz, Nicks, MM, Weatherford, L'enfant terrible Jean and thanx for not taking Chase off of your list of favorite contacts. These are just the high points. Some draft sites even treat the Giant draft as some sort of mystical perfection, see Walter Football. Never one to take the easy way with splashy expensive FA signings that often turn into cap anchors,he does it with knock it out of the ball park drafts and serious but less expensive role playing contributors in free agency. Is he the best out there now? This writer thinks so, with a long look for number two.
