but I agree that the SB42 merch was more interesting, particularly the hat. I must say though in both instances the white ny logo seems to go better with these items than the Packers stuff did from last year (white goes with everything). Case in point:

Roster shirts for the whole family.

Now that the NYG won the Superbowl I could wear my NFC Championship without worring about causing any jinxes (as advised by my numerous giant friends!).

At some point I’ve going to order a coffee mug for when I’m out my in-laws (they are huge Eagle fans), but that’s not until the summer. And will probably put me out of the will, assuming I was ever in it!

And mine is a short sleeve. The blue is a really nice shade of blue and the blue, red and white look great together .. good shade of red and good proportional use of the colors. And it’s not too gaudy with HUGE lettering or anything.


I agree the SB46 stuff is pretty ugly. I don’t know if I’ll get it. I already have two big blue sweatshirts (one pullover, one zipper), 2007 gray long sleeve conference champ shirt (that’s my lucky one — Gmen won SB42 and the final 6 games of 2011/2012 with me wearing it), a nice long sleeve blue shirt, 2 different long sleeve SB42 shirts I never wear, another bootleg SB42 gray t-shirt with the entire roster printed on the back, another old random blue short sleeve t-shirt. 2 decent caps – one bootleg blue one with the velcro back and the NY, and another nicer legit blue soft one with the buckle in the back that says “New York Giants” in stitched on the front in block lettering.


I need jersey(s) next. Only one I still have lying around is a replica Shockey (letters printed, not stitched, on). Never wear it anymore but I wore it for SB42 so it’s lucky to an extent. My wife works for Cole Haan which is owned by Nike so she should get 50% off the new Nike jerseys (and other gear) when then come out next year so I am fired up for that.


Will definitely get the season highlights Blu-ray when it comes out in March (hope to get a good deal at Best Buy or Amazon) and I hope they put out a multiple game set like the one they did for SB 42 that included complete games of the entire playoffs plus the Week 17 Patriots game. This year they should go one extra disc and TOTALLY start with the Jets game, then Cowboys Week 17, and then entire playoffs and SB46.


I also just got the below DVD set off Amazon for $25. I didn’t know it existed. Awesome set for $2.50 per game DVD.

Got a flag that’s on my desk at work and got a banner with the 4 Super Bowl logos for each title. My wife (Jets fan) wasn’t thrilled with that one but its up and not going anywhere!
I’ll get a hat too, when the Modells near my office re-stocks. I agree though – kind of boring, but still have to have it. Might go for one of those GMEN shirts.
Also, my DVR is getting crowded. 3 prior SB win highlights from NFL network and now the 90 minute version of XLVI.

I hardly own any articles of clothing with sports logo on them, and have no plans on expanding now

I went the sports illustrated rout, reupping and getting the photo book, dvd, and commemorative football. I also plan on getting a tshirt. After a few months, when the prices have gone down or someone is selling one on EBay, I’m going to get a Jersey for my collection

I wanted to get the all black t w/ the “Gmen” in the middle but i went to modells yesterday and they didn’t have it.

frankly I don’t like ordering stuff on line either.

I know it looks plain and all I love the subtle colors. I also want my woman some panties and t shirts from Victoria Secrets ( yes, victoria secrets) with the NY Giants logos. The t-shirt is see through of course with a huge lower case “ny” on the front and panties with the logo on the back makes her a** look just right. a pair of white ones in a pair of blue ones. the blue ones are my favorite. now all I have to get is the superbowl champions shirt and I will be set.

I’m a designer and Giants’ fan but I have to say, I really hate the Giants’ clothing line. It’s a little over the top sometimes and they really should follow the same rules of their jerseys and helmets. Less is more. I’m really curious who comes up with their stuff for their clothing line. Sometimes, I just want a simple shirt with an Giants’ “NY” logo on it and they have to make the logo the size of the whole friggin’ shirt with some futuristic, go out of style typeface in that Christian Audgier look. Trust me, I even looked in to making officially licensed Giants’ stuff but it’s like $100,000 for that license.

(i know I’ll get killed here for saying it) But if there is one thing I have to give credit for when it comes to the Jets, they do make really nice clothing and licensed apparel. They even hired one of the (if not the) best branding company in the world to redesign their look. Bravo to them. The NY Giants should do the same.

I ordered a SB patch and was planning on getting a premier (eqt) away jersey (probably Cruz as I got the Eli one for 42 and I’m from Passaic county) but you can’t find them online anywhere. I’m sure Reebok is done making them and the Nike ones don’t come out until around July, so looks like I’ll just hold on to the patch until then.

Yeah the logo isn’t great but that’s not the point.

Come September when I walk into the pub that I watch a good deal of games at, I’ll be wearing that obnoxious crap with a Gigantic look at me and look what my team did expression on my face.

To me, the uglier the better.

This Super Bowl, like the last one, came a week before my birthday, and since I am usually so hard to buy for, I am gonna let the Championship gear come to me. I guess I should still try to act surprised when I receive it.

2 for me and one for my girl…I then saw the ALL-IN Tshirts and was about to spend a bunch more on that and some hoodies but they were all out of the ALLins :( I also am not a big fan of gray hats…and I don’t really like the style of any of the other ones so. I’ll wait till the games are on iTunes and when I have Internet again to purchase the 2011 playoffs

I bought the official hat, but I couldn’t bring myself to buy that hideous t-shirt. JC Penney had a nice roster shirt in Giants blue that I liked better than the white one. Also picked up a Manning Super Bowl XLVI shirt, a shot glass and a beer glass with the roster on it. I’ll probably end up buying a coffee mug, too. Picked up the Sports Illustrated and the special edition today. I really wanted to get the official Manning Super Bowl jersey, but it’s $200.
