Kudos & WW 2011 Fan Edition
First Huge Kudos to Ed
You may not pump out the most pieces, and your pieces may not stake out aggressive territory. But there are many of us that really appreciate the consistent and fine work that you do. Further, reporting the facts without always feeling the need to editorialize and analyze, is something I truly value. We are fans, it colors our analysis, getting the facts without a spin allows me (us) to think for ourselves. I love that.
And thanks for running a site where you are willing to draw the hard line on appropriate behavior. At times it may seem draconian, the no censorship, wild west blogs, might seem sexy, but they always suffer for their lax discipline. They are plagued by bullies both local and drop by. It stifles discussion.
Next Mike and Sean
At first I was skeptical, but I now look forward to your missives. Especially as the playoff run kept going, I got the sense that you were finding a comfortable voice with which to speak to us. Your efforts are appreciated, and I look forward to more in the off season.
The regulars
You know who you are. The guys that take this stuff as seriously as I do, and can still maintain a sense of humor. Its helped me thru all of the dark moments, that fricking game last year, Washington 2 this year, the times when you want to smash your head into a wall, because maybe it will make the pain go away. Knowing that others share your pain, and can see something positive, some morsel of resolve that we all can build off of so that we can keep the faith. I even include the nattering nabobs of negativism. At times you challenged the denizens of this space to show why it was right to be faithful, and I think that we've all profited from the conversation.
Last Kudo
To the fans of other teams that congratulated us and reminded me that sportsmanship matters.
WET WILLIES
To the fan(s) (I didn't keep track) of other teams that came over after our win, and demonstrated poor sportsmanship. There is nothing anyone can do to take away from our experience. Good luck living with all of the anger you store. It won't harm us one bit, not when we win and not when we lose.

isnt winning superbowls fun?
lets congratulate each other more! This has been a wild ride this year and obviously it couldnt have ended any better. As i get more involved at work, it gets harder and harder to post as much as I would like to, but I am able to get on BBV every single day to at least read the articles and comments. the addition of sean and mike make it even harder to get work done, and Ed was his usual stellar article writing self.
I love all you guys, and it has been an honor weathering the storm that was the 2011 NFL season with all you, writers and commentors. Cant friggin wait until the draft.
clap clap clap!

Great post
I especially want to point out my agreement with the tone that is set here and upheld. It has alot to do with the quality of the site. All one has to do is visit sites with less or no restrictions on vulgarity and the like to realize that that kind of behavior does not forward great football conversations.
And Kudos to you 63, for all you have contributed to discussions this year.
Ernie Accorsi to Wellington Mara upon drafting Eli Manning, "This kid id going to win you a championship, and he's going to win you more than one."
Ernie is the Man(ning)
I was hoping this would be more about me
and less about, you know, everything else.
You PLAY to WIN the GAME.
Dear Tebow, please let the Giants beat the Patriots.
I dunno what I would do without this site
The Internet has so much to offer in terms information. Yet 80% of my Internet time is devoted to this site.
Die hard Giants fan since wide Right! I was 6...

Win Ugly.
-Eli Manning for MVP
Agreed!
I had never gone to an opposing teams site until the comedy thread started, and even then I VERY rarely visit the, but it is immediately obvious the standard we are held to promotes discussion and allows opposing fans to come over for some debate! I like many, come here everyday, read just about every article and as many comments as I have time for. I greatly appreciate ALL of the work by the admins and the BBV community alike!
On a side note, I’ve always been under the impression from his avatar pic that Ed was black. I guess its the way the shadow is cast over his face. I was shocked when I saw the larger picture above.
I'll peruse other sites
I rarely post. Reading is enough fun.
Jacobs to Eli: You're a beast, man. I can't say that enough!
