This one's for you ^
Manning quote:
“Offensively we played very well and played smart. In the fourth quarter, it was a situation we’ve been in before. It was one of those situations where we knew we had to score, and the guys stepped up and made some [big] plays.’’

And he has the best F.U. mode since Michael Jordan. He may be smug and douchey and too pretty but he’s also one of the best QBs in NFL history.

also 87 and 91 can be explained
87 – Mara did not prepare of the strike and the team suffered.
91 – Ray Handley, that is all.

Glocks don't have safeties
It is true, Glocks have no safeties at all. So the Giants need to make sure all the players at least have Sigs which have a harder trigger pull for the first shot at least. That way the gun just falls out the bottom of their sweat pants instead of shooting them.
I'm not sure that is entirely accurate.
I seem to recall firing a glock at a range and having to release the safety….
by NYStateofMind on Feb 6, 2012 12:50 PM EST up reply actions
This might be what you saw?
In 2003, Glock announced the Internal Locking System (ILS) safety feature. The ILS is a manually activated lock that is located in the back of the pistol’s grip. It is cylindrical in design and, according to Glock, each key is unique. When activated, the lock causes a tab to protrude from the rear of the grip giving both a visual and tactile indication as to whether the lock is engaged or not. When activated, the ILS renders the Glock unfireable as well as making it impossible to disassemble. When disengaged, the ILS adds no further safety mechanisms to the Glock pistol. The ILS is available as an option on most Glock pistols. Glock pistols cannot be retrofitted to accommodate the ILS. The lock must be factory built in Austria and shipped as a special order.
HMMMMM ++++
86 and 90 were Parcell’s 4th and 8th years with the team.
07 and 11 were TC’s 4th and 8th year with the team.

I was 10 14- and since my birthday is Feb 1 and the league moved the SB to Feb- I was 32 and 36 for the last 2.
This one I witnessed with my 3 week old Daughter who is defintiely a good luck charm!
witnessed SB wins
at age 7, 11, 28, and 32
My oldest was 3 for the the 07 super bowl win, 2nd was 9 months
This SB I got to watch it with my 7, 4, 2, and 2 months old sons along with my dad and some Giants fan friends here in Giants hating San Diego. Lots of fun.
Nicely done!
12, 16, 33 and 37 here. Had my 3 year old daughter leading the Let’s Go Giants (clap clap clapclapclap) in a room full of Giants fans. Awesome memories of this one!
Manning lobs it, Burress alone, touchdown New York!
For the empty net, Mark Messier... do you believe it?! Do you believe it?! He said we will win game 6 - he has just picked up the hat trick!
Awesome!

Funny
I bawled after Super Bowl 42. The build up, the mystique, the perfect season, etc…too overwhelming. This one, I felt confident from the start. The game didn’t go the way I expected, but the result was, so I didn’t shed a tear…until the post-game interviews.

Brady, Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees have unequivocal ownership over the “elite quarterback” label, yet none have won more Super Bowls than Manning since 2008. Were I Manning, I’d say, “Keep the label, resume making Pro Bowl appearances and please, please exclude me from your exclusive club. I’ve taken a liking to collecting shiny objects in early February.”

it all probably means nothing
but considering how young this team is, our franchise QB is in his prime and we’re definitely not gonna have a post-SB team ravaged by free agency, I think the window is still gonna be there.
It could be SB 63 for all anyone knows of course.
