87 – Mara did not prepare of the strike and the team suffered.
91 – Ray Handley, that is all.

Glocks don't have safeties

It is true, Glocks have no safeties at all. So the Giants need to make sure all the players at least have Sigs which have a harder trigger pull for the first shot at least. That way the gun just falls out the bottom of their sweat pants instead of shooting them.

by Ualtar on Feb 6, 2012 11:48 AM EST up reply actions

I'm not sure that is entirely accurate.

I seem to recall firing a glock at a range and having to release the safety….

by NYStateofMind on Feb 6, 2012 12:50 PM EST up reply actions

This might be what you saw?

In 2003, Glock announced the Internal Locking System (ILS) safety feature. The ILS is a manually activated lock that is located in the back of the pistol’s grip. It is cylindrical in design and, according to Glock, each key is unique. When activated, the lock causes a tab to protrude from the rear of the grip giving both a visual and tactile indication as to whether the lock is engaged or not. When activated, the ILS renders the Glock unfireable as well as making it impossible to disassemble. When disengaged, the ILS adds no further safety mechanisms to the Glock pistol. The ILS is available as an option on most Glock pistols. Glock pistols cannot be retrofitted to accommodate the ILS. The lock must be factory built in Austria and shipped as a special order.

Brady, Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees have unequivocal ownership over the “elite quarterback” label, yet none have won more Super Bowls than Manning since 2008. Were I Manning, I’d say, “Keep the label, resume making Pro Bowl appearances and please, please exclude me from your exclusive club. I’ve taken a liking to collecting shiny objects in early February.”

It looks like the Jets will need another black curtain eight years from now...

…because they will have another title to cover up next time we play those mutts on the ‘road’ at Met Life Stadium.

they hang them every Jet home game

So woody will have to go curtain shopping his week.

Super math - complete the sequence

21 25 42 …

46 is in the bag now lets get the next

by Donncha on Feb 6, 2012 1:23 PM EST reply actions

if that has any significance it might be 50

21 x2 = 42

21 + 25 = 46.

So 25 × 2 = 50.

it all probably means nothing

but considering how young this team is, our franchise QB is in his prime and we’re definitely not gonna have a post-SB team ravaged by free agency, I think the window is still gonna be there.

It could be SB 63 for all anyone knows of course.

And there are zero HC jobs open

At least not in the pros so no one is going to raid our coaching staff either.

A Great year

The Giants won the 46th Super Bowl
With it a Lombardi trophy to hold.
An accomplishment seemingly impossible once.
But, soon after, all the teams that show up get trounce.
Being a fan, I’m as ecstatic as the team.
This elated feeling is like a dream.
