PFF Fans and Haters
The WSJ has a great article on the founder of PFF and how the Giants are using it

I tend to hate PFFs grading systems
Mainly because they don’t have enough knowledge of player assignments to factually know how to grade them. Also, their dependence on TV feeds mean they can only grade at most 1/2 the action. That said
The raw non judgement type data is incredibly useful. Knowing the likelihood of where guys will line up on defense against you in a 3rd and long is a big advantage. snap counts and the rest as well. Even things like pressures, from a certain package. If you know that 75% of the time on 3rd and long your opponent gets pressure up the middle using extra pass rushers, what great info for a RB in blitz pick up.
NICE PICK UP – RECD

If the Giants win
This guys business model is going to take off. Only 5 Teams using it currently.
I got a GIF for that!
Giants by 17 over GB, take it to the bank!
Giants by 10 over SF, take it to the bank! Well, OK, by 3, but we are Super Bowl bound!!!!!!!
Giants will score 30 or more points, NE 20 or less. Guess who wins? Take it to the bank!

he might do better to work exclusive
Or work a deal with the NFL to go private and provide it to all teams
I just don’t think all the cheap azz owners would kick in from their beer kitty

PFFt!
look I don’t doubt that these guys are probably pretty accurate when it comes to grading the O and D lines.
but after that, I wouldn’t even bother.

Good find
But Fester, does this mean instead of GIFs, you will now be posting relevant WSJ articles into the middle of discussions?
I tend to like PFF because I think they are accurate 90% of the time, and you can usually spot the odd ratings (like Tollefson this year).
My QB has 2 rings. Well, 3 if you want to get technical.
