Giants Losing Bicknell Jr. To Kansas City Chiefs

The Star-Ledger is reporting that New York Giants assistant offensive line coach Jack Bicknell Jr. will leave the Giants to become offensive line coach of the Kansas City Chiefs. The move has yet to be officially announced by the Chiefs.

So, that is two offensive assistant coaches down for the Giants. Quarterbacks coach Mike Sullivan became offensive coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneeers just a few days ago.

Bicknell Jr. had served as assistant offensive line coach for the Giants for the past three seasons.

The Star-Ledger's Mike Garafolo, who apparently has forgotten to take his foot off the gas and slow down just a tad with this being the offseason and all, also reported that the Giants missed out on a potential replacement for Sullivan when Alex Van Pelt chose to join the Green Bay Packers coaching staff.

I have no idea what the Giants will do to replace Bicknell Jr., although I am sure head coach Tom Coughlin has a list of potential candidates. For the sake of discussion, let me drop a name on you. What about Rich Seubert?

imagine if Seubert came back?

it would be great.

but I highly doubt it though. I don’t even know why i say that. Just doesn’t seem like a guy who’s interested in coaching

I could acually

see O’Hara going into coaching though. He and Eli put together the lockout camps, and they basically ran them.

Giants will score 30 (correction 21 (damn FG's/failed 2 pt conversion)) or more points, NE 20 or less. Guess who wins? Take it to the bank!

Cruz at the Grammy Awards
Among all the musicians gathered, Cruz was most excited to meet Drake.

"That was my guy," he said. "He’s so cool. We shook hands, and he’s a fan of my work. And I’m definitely a fan of his stuff. So that was a good moment for me."

He’s a fan of my work…? I hope he is talking about “Young Whales”.

Thing is I wish I could believe that

But it just comes off as pandering. There are a lot of MCs in touch with their emotions, but they don’t sound like Drake.

Actually the fill-ins did nicely

Basically a rebuilt line with little time in off season. Backs had health issues. New center was out a lot. JR. did all right. Interesting note on Ohara.

The same reason Micheal Phelps has a swimming coach

Having somebody who can dispassionately look at what you’re doing and correct any bad habits or help you to improve is invaluable.

Just because you’re great doesn’t mean you can’t get better, nor does it mean you shouldn’t try, nor does it mean that somebody else can’t help you do it. The best are the best because they realize that there’s ALWAYS something to improve on, they will do what they must to do it, and they recognize the value of outside advice.

The wannabe’s don’t, won’t, and can’t.
