The New York Giants will have the 19th selection in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft. The Giants had the 19th pick in the draft two seasons ago, using to select cornerback Prince Amukamara.
The No. 1 overall pick will go to the Kansas City Chiefs, who finished the season 2-14. The Chiefs and Jacksonville Jaguars both finished the season 2-14, but Kansas City gets the top pick due to a weaker strength of schedule. The Jaguars pick second.
There are many ways the Giants could go with this pick. Almost every area of their defense could use an upgrade, so no matter what the position you could make an argument for taking the best defensive player on the board. You could make an argument for an offensive lineman if one the Giants like is available. You could even make a case for a tight end.
