How is Big Blue View doing this fine Saturday morning? I am a big Lions fan that is not here to start any shit or anything like that because lets be honest what could I really say this year? We gots nothing! Anyways the reason why I am here....
A good friend of mine (who is a big Giants fan) is getting a bit of a surprise from his gf this year as they as well as my gf and me are coming to visit NYC from Toronto this year for the week 17 game vs the Eagles. We already have our tickets and hotel yadda yadda yadda but I need some help in planning the game day activities. Hes never been to a Giants game in New York (actually none of us have) so we want to try and experience as much as possible while we are down there. Any tips or places to go etc would be greatly appreciated. We wont have a car but I am assuming we can get to the stadium via public transit so the drinks will be flowing.
I guess my main questions are is there anything that we MUST NOT MISS while down there.
Is public transit an option to get to the stadium (I assume it is but just want to make sure)? How long roughly should it take to get out there (we are staying at Mariott near Madison Ave)?
Tailgating .....where are some of the better spots to do this?
What time should we plan on getting ourselves out to the area surrounding the stadium?
If you any places we need to check out that are not the norm touristy spots or some great restaurants etc please leave it below. All of us are on our first trip to NYC so we are definitely excited.
A big thank you to all of you for letting me post this and any answers you might give!
