NFC East Half Report

The Giants have a nice lead at 6-2 while the rest have losing records so yes, the Giants are in the drivers seat, control their own destiny, the division is theirs to lose, whatever way you want to say it.

I may have wished it coming into the season but I had no idea Eagles and Cowboys would be so lost.

Of course before we start celebrating now is the time to be cautious as the Giants have a tendency to spiral in the 2nd half or so they say. (I've written a post about that perception - I don't really agree the Giants history shows the trend to "collapse" towards the end of the season).

Here's your NFC East schedule/record comparison chart.

The absolute beauty of all this is the Giants have already played 4 division games while the rest of the division has a lot more to play against each other.... can you see the potential in that?

at best each team takes 2 more lost and we separate further in the lead of the division

at worst someone gets swept and that's 1 team we don't have to worry about for good
