if cruz keeps it up no doubt in my mind

he will not only be the smartest kid in school, but the most popular as well. most people wouldnt probably know this on here, but he is HUGE into fashion. He has an awesome Jordan collection that he shows off on social networks and that he is now being noticed in public for…. (he was wearing those air jordan 11s at the knicks game that people riotted on chrismtas for)

He also has his own clothing line. Victor Cruz’s clothing line is Young Whales.

Somehow the Kracken doesnt accurately describe

the pure awesome power JPP. We could just call him, “The Monster” or if we so choosed… “El Monster” or just “El”…

I kinda equate him to a F5 Tornado… As soon as the play starts you see everyone running away from him… Blockers are just flyin in all different directions… the whole Left side of the Oline just gets demolished… who ever goes into that side, ends up on the Ground, wondering “WTF was that??!!?” While the training staff stands over them, making sure they dont think that they are Batman.

He's only 23 and already close to DeMarcus Ware in his prime.

Now the Cowboy fans will know how felt about 5 years ago knowing we were going to have to face that twice a year for a decade.

by Shofner85 on Jan 6, 2012 3:04 PM EST reply actions

One question, re: Ware

How is he still considered an OLB? I know the Girls run a base 3-4, but he is on the line of scrimmage every down and is seldom, if ever, in coverage.

by Step up and make big plays on Jan 6, 2012 3:11 PM EST up reply actions

because he technically

is a Line backer, that is free to attack from any position. Watch the rewind and he always picks his side and then makes a choice to go down or stand.

I seem to recall

this also has salaray cap implications. I think the franchise tag on a DE is higher than a LB, so it benefits the team to list him as a LB when possible. Suggs had this issue with Baltimore.

the difference is we can face the Cowboys 5 times a year and really not care about facing Ware

for real, he might have a lot of sacks against the Giants but he rarely is a problem to deal with. JPP on the other hand dominated them this season. Ware never did that to us. One game he did have a few sacks but it didn’t really matter.

In fairness

he played with better QBs than Sanchez.

Me too

And if he had Nicks who knows?

It’s already a wrap… might as well not show up tomorrow.

Amani was a great WR

and he definitely was slowed by having Ol’ Bonehead Collins as his QB, although Bonehead was pretty good at times.

Toomer loved Collins

said it was his favorite QB to play with… mostly because he threw him alot of TD passes from 99 to 02

Toomer said Eli and Tiki were close when they played

Tiki had a nickname for him “Elisha”. Not really a nickname cause that’s Eli’s legal name.

Lol

I guess Tiki didn’t understand what nickname meant. By that logic Tiki’s nickname would be Atiim Kiambu Hakeem-Ah.

Congrats to JPP and Cruz

Both well deserved. I knew that JPP, if given the PT, would have a good year. I couldn’t see this coming. Here’s to hoping he terrorizes M. Ryan on Sunday.

Cruz, though? I think even his most valiant supporters thought he might hit these numbers as a ceiling, not his first full year playing. Let’s hope it’s not a ceiling, and that the playoffs are SALSA TIME.

that would be terrible.
ALOT of people are up on Suggs for some reason.
and Jared Allen just for the sacks he is putting up.

Suggs has been as much of a beast for the Ravens as JPP has for us.

Jared Allen is an upgraded Jason Babin.

I support the Giants like bras support Kim Kardashian's boobs. It can be a struggle, we've had some jiggles, but we're still firm.

i disagree with you on the suggs part

Suggs plays in a much better defense then JPP does. has a lot more help to work off of then JPP.

Thats why Suggs will win it though

DPOY is an acknowledgement of team success as well as individual greatness, kinda like MVP. I can’t see JPP getting DPOY on a defense that was statistically below-average, sadly. Which is also why Jaren Allen has no chance, his team won 3 games.

Go Giants!

I hope Revis doesn't win it

I think he does. The media loves him and many feel he should have won last year.

If he didn't win it last year or the year before

when the team was good, he’s not with the train wreck they have now

You're right.

I know I questioned which planet he was from when he chose JPP and I’ve apologized.
