Giant Hits on Quarterbacks 2011-12
This year especially are so many things to appreciate as a Giants fan but when I look deep down at the core of why I love Giants football its all about being that Big Blue Bully against the opposing teams QB.
As the NFL continues to evolve through the decades with more rules catered to the offense and the QB, so too may the teams trademark have to adapt in some ways, nonetheless I hope hard blue bruising hits to QBs will always be embedded in the G-Men DNA.
This is a collage of all the great shots of our defense making Quarterbacks eat grass and dirt in 2011-12. To me nothing speaks true blue Giant football than harassing Quarterbacks and introducing them to the ground!
PRESEASON:
Week 1: Grossman - Redskins
Week 2: Sam Bradford - Rams:
Week 4: M. Crybaby Vick - Eagles
Week 5: Kolb Az Cardinals
Week 6: Jackson -Seahawks
Week 6: Fitzpatrick- Bills
Once you let the Giants make your QB "go down" we pretty much own you!
Week 8: Dolphins - Moore (this is the only one i could find)
Week 9 Brady - Patriots
Week 10 Alex Smith - 49ers
Aaron Rodgers - Green Bay
Could not fine any hits on Sexy Rexy 2nd Rematch of Skins...
Tony Romo - Cowboys again (We could have a whole post on just Romo Sacks)
PLAY OFFS
"Matty melted ICE" - Falcons
Aaron Rodgers - Packers
Alex Smith - 49ers
Season:
Sacks: 4th place - 48 (Eagles 1st place with 50 sacks)
QB Hits: Where can I get this - it seems everywhere I go they only shows the amount teams have allow
PlayOffs:
Sacks: 1st place - 9
QB Hits: 1st place -Where can I get this - it seems everywhere I go they only shows the amount teams have allow

My Wife is a Patriot's fan...
"Giants rely on fumbles and stripping the ball. If the pats secure the ball, then the pats win, but if they fumble or let the ball get striped than the giants win. every game the giants play they always benefit from the other teams bonehead mistakes (fumbled or striped) not from thier skills. The giants are a dirty team, I can’t think of any othe team as dirty as the giants. They try to strip the ball as hard as they can because they know they can’t win a fair game." by EaglesNeedD on Jan 23, 2012 2:01 AM EST

Man rule #36
Crying is allowed when reminiscing about a football season that ends in a Super Bowl birth lol.

Corollary to rule #36
If said season ends with a Superbowl victory, tears of joy are, in fact, encouraged and shall not be looked down upon.

when the Giants won XLII
I called my cowboys friend.
This was the same year as “That’s my quarterback, man”
Plax was crying on TV and I was like, “Sorry for picking on TO man. I guess crying is ok.”

Fantastic post. Definitely rec'd.
One of my favorite Giants regular season games that I’ve ever watched was last year against the Bears, during our streak of knocking out QBs.
I love that we don’t hit dirty, we just hit clean and HARD.

That said, I’ll look at Big Blue pounding opposing QBs all day!!!

If you want to argue that Manning is a) not a great quarterback or b) not the best quarterback in franchise history your credibility is automatically shot.
