Still In Shock
Wow. Did that just happen? Did the New York Giants just get back into the Superbowl? I have not been this happy in a long time. As a student at school up in Boston it was crazy to see these two teams, the New England Patriots and the New York Football Giants, collide in a Superbowl rematch, of without a doubt the best Superbowl of my life.
I watched the Patriots game with all of my Patriot fan friends. That was one hell of a game. I did not have a favorite in the game, I just wanted to watch a good game. Was nice to see Tom Brady get in Ray Lewis' face, thought it was a bit aggressive and was surprised Ray Lewis didn't make him pay for that. Rollercoaster of emotion in that room, but when the Patriots won, my dorm seemed to explode...people were going nuts in the hallways.
Watching the Giants game I was one of two people rooting for the Giants, since, and I quote my Patriot fan friend, "I want the 49ers to win because I am scared s***less of the Giants!" I was on the edge of my seat throughout the whole game. In overtime when Jaquan Williams popped that ball out, I lost it my one fellow Giants fan and I were jumping up and down hugging and screaming for joy. And then when Tynes sent us to the Superbowl for the second time in his career in OT I almost cried of joy.
We are going to Indy. If you told me before the season after losing several starters that we would be going to the Superbowl I probably would have given you the finger and said yeah and I bet we are also going to drop both games to the Washington Redskins. I do not think this is the same team that dropped 2 to the Deadskins and another against the Seahawks. I feel the moral victory that we had against Aaron Rodgers baptized this team, since that game the Giants are seven and one. We found our groove again. The defense has come together and so has the run game which has taken pressure off of Eli.
This game is what the fans wanted to see. The Giants and the Patriots in a Superbowl rematch in the Superbowl!
All of us here at Big Blue View know what it means--another chance for the GMen to send Tom Brady home to his amazing and absolutely beautiful wife Gisele Bundchen, without a new ring, and with a few bruises complements of the monster that is Jason Pierre Paul and the Optimus Prime facemask wearing Justin Tuck and the gladiator facemask wearing Chris Canty. Eli, Nicks, and Cruz will abuse the Patriots secondary. It will be fun. I fully intend to take a bus back to NYC for this year's Superbowl parade.

Just don't get ahead of yourself.
The SB has not been played yet and New England is not just going to lay down and let us walk all over them. While I admire and second your confidence in this TRULY AMAZING Giants team, we still have one more battle to win. other than that great post Rec’d!!
If you want to argue that Manning is a) not a great quarterback or b) not the best quarterback in franchise history your credibility is automatically shot.

Manning's House
Eli will be so focused that if you think Flacco gave the Patriots problem, Eli is going to torture their secondary ! It will be a great game but the Patriots don’t realize our defense is even better when we beat them much earlier in the season ! Go Giants !!!
Brady will be hurting
When Brady took his life in his hands and dove over the pile for the TD, he took one hell of a blow to his lower back. It bent his body like a bow and threw his legs back so he almost kicked himself. Gutsy gutsy gutsy. but the shock to his lower spine where there is no padding, by the body or pads, will have its affect. It take a few days for the body to react to that kind of lower back assault. I figure that he will be really stiff starting tomorrow. Now, its understood that he is in great shape, but that part of the body is probably the least protected, and that was one whale of a jolt. I would not be surprised that he shows even less ability to move around after a few hits than usual. It’s something to keep in mind as the game goes along. cant underestimate the impact of that hit. IMHO

I cringed at home
Looked incredibly nasty
Eli Manning is the opposite of Lebron James. If you ask Lebron for change for a dollar, he only gives you 75c because he doesnt have a fourth quarter. When Eli asks for change, he only takes one quarter because thats all he's gonna need.
