Be prepared traveling Giants fans

You will be entering the most violent and vulgar fan atmosphere in the NFL this season. This Saints fan wasn't stabbed or shot, which has happened at 49er games this year, but he did write an editorial recounting the vulgar treatment of his family by Niners fans.

Meh I've been to almost every stadium,

and in my estimation, there’s nothing worse than visiting the Linc.
Just MHO.
It’s football. It’s nasty. Fans are nasty.

I wish this weren't true

I’m a 49ers fan, and I’ve been to about 10 games over the years, including the 1995 NFC championship game agains Dallas. I’ve never personally seen anything like this and I’m embarrassed that it happened. I’ve taken pride in wearing San Francisco colors to other stadiums and usually been treated well enough by other fans. I even enjoy the banter. Here is hoping that nothing like this happens to Giants fans this weekend and all the violence is on the field.

I've said it before...

I’m out in the Bay Area and the 49er fans I see “on the street” are already hostile towards me in my Giants hat. Two days in a row I have bumped into a loud mouth Niners fan in the grocery store. He loves to whisper threats as he walks by my family and I. Basically anyone who sees me out around here likes to puff out their chest and act like they are a starting LB for the Niners.

It’s funny because when I respond to them they don’t want any part of it. The one douche schooner followed me from aisle to aisle and even got in line at the checkout right behind me. I found it odd that he refused to even look at me as we waited for our turn to checkout. I even wished the guy “good luck this weekend” as I walked off and he seemed to be more interested in burying his face in the newest copy of Us Weekly than actually look me in the eye and talk shit.

nywins42 needs a new screen name - "nywins46" sounds great!

Just ordered FatHeads for all available Giants. Now I have something to aim at when punching holes in my wall.
