Class or No Class?
I noticed that Green Bay's head coach refused to give the Giants any credit during his press conference after the game. He basically made it sound like they lost it, rather than that we won it. Dropped passes, missed tackles, blah blah blah. Aren't there missed tackles in every game? Aren't there dropped balls regularly? Doesn't it rain sometimes? It's part of the game. Your team is not some made-up All Madden team that doesn't have the propensity to make mistakes.
I understand that he may be "shocked" or have his feelings hurt, but to me that is how a big baby would react.
I mean, did they really believe that they were invincible? Really? That's why we actually play the games, rather than just compare numbers and see whose are better.
Even Rodgers didn't say the better team won; he said that the team that played better won. OK, well at least he admitted that we played better. He was just mad that someone stole his move.
And which team doesn't have the goal of winning the Super Bowl? Like Green bay is some kind of special team or something. Give me a break; it's everyone's goal to go the Super Bowl.
Regardless, what respect I might've had for the Green Bay outfit is gone. That coach has lost my respect, and as long as they support a big baby like that, they've lost my respect as well.
Not that it means anything.

their fans were arrogant, entitled crybabies over here
I rooted for them against the Steelers. That’s it.

I love how their fans all predicted blowout wins to the tune of 45-10, 42-0, etc.
just makes me smile :)

Yeah, I know they're good but that surprised me.
I didn’t think their fanbase would be that arrogant. I’ve always liked the Packers but that kinda made me wanna change my mind.
Look at them hands...

I was courteous enough to warn them that
Such predictions and baseless arrogance from a heavily favored team’s fanbase would be met with sharp reprimand from the football gods. And it was, in most devastating fashion. What could be worse than getting blown out at home? Having the game called heavily in your favor by the officials.
There were a few quality Packers fans over there that knew what time it was. But they get drowned out by those that still insist the better team lost. Pats fans insisted after the ’07 Super Bowl. The 2008 season began with a season-ending injury for Tom Terrific.
Somebody responsible for restoring balance in the grand scheme of things once said, “You don’t want to make me angry.”
The Giants, thankfully, remain an underdog heading into San Francisco.

they had a poll:
What will the margin of victory be?
Unfortunately, NEGATIVE 31 was not an option

Hard to believe
That fans of a team that beat us by three points could be so bold. At least Vegas believed in the Pats (14 point favorites?) so it’s hard to blame their fans for being cocky.

Craziness....
Can’t believe the level of arrogance over there. Even after the game they’re being rather snobbish. Oh well, off to San Fran we have bigger fish to fry.

I didnt have a problem with that press conference
What coach would come out and say, “well, my team is clearly just worse, kudos to the other team, we just arent good enough”. He paid us the respect we deserved, admitting that we played the better game, but he didnt throw his own team under the bus by saying that all their regular season accomplishments meant nothing.
Lost in the playoffs of the BBV fantasy league and ended 3rd overall! Team Figging lived on with its 9-5 regular season record. Beat the (Insert Giants Opponent Here) were just too good to beat.
McCarthy can piss off
they dropped all the passes, tho 8 is a hilariously overblown number their players had to dive for a lot of them…those aren’t drops. And they were only in the game cuz of some horrendous officiating. THat blown fumble call basically wipes anything “beating themselves” the Packers did off the slate.
I used to like the Packers, but I really can’t stand them after this. They’ll be on my S*** list until a new regime is there. McCarthy is a nipple.
Last night, a comedian died in New York. Somebody knows why. Somebody knows
Yea that number 8 is a joke...
The one Finley dropped he had to since no drop. Jennings in the endzone, no drop would’ve been great catch. Then there were 2 that were more pass defense than drop so that leaves the count at 4.

We are used to our coach and QB priase the other team before and after the game irrespective of the result. Seems other teams do not do that. So i say that both the coach and qb from Packers were classless
This is not the 2007 team.
2011 NYG will have their own legacy.
Giants played Packers close in regular season but lost. Giants won post season.
So what’s the issue? Why does a team that beat the Giants regular season have to come out after a loss and kiss their feet? No one does that. Their obviously devasted that they were 15-1 and lost in the post season. Just think of that 18-1 team a few years back. Be happy with the win and carry on. Why look back?
