The Season of Revenge

That week 15 loss to the Redskins was devastating. As a fan, I thought this team was done for, 7-7, getting torn apart by REX GROSSMAN and the last place Redskins crushed my hope for this team. I thought for sure we would miss the playoffs and this would be Coughlin's final year. But something happened to this team after that loss, and that something brought this team back from the dead. The Giants had been hearing about how the Jets were the "bigger brothers" in New York and that they owned the city ever since Rex Ryan came to the Jets. Rex and the Jets trashed talked up to the game so much that it lit a fire under our boys @sses. They went out and punched the Jets in the mouth in revenge for all the crap they had been talking for the past 2 years. Then they went and took care of the Cowboys to lock up the NFC East in convincing fashion. After that, they came out and dominated the talented, high flying offense of the Falcons, which gave them a great deal of confidence. Next up, they went out to Lambeau Field to take on the 15-1 Packers, who had won their last 21 of 22 games and were undefeated at home. Sticking to the formula of success of pressure on the QB and solid coverage in the secondary, they beat down the Packers and avenged that early december loss. In doing so, they sent a message to the rest of the league, that these Giants who were left for dead on that MetLife stadium field on week 15, had come back to life and are LEGIT. Next up, the Giants will face the 49ers at Candlestick Park, and will hopefully exact revenge for the loss earlier in the season. If they win this game, they will hopefully face the Ravens, where they will avenge that superbowl blowout 11 years ago. GO GIANTS!!!
