BBV Pick 'em CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND

Well according to Rex Ryan, the Giants and the 3 other teams here are the greatest teams evar because they made it to the Conference Championship. I wonder if Weatherford likes the NFC CC or the AFC CC better? But I digress.

Star-divide

We had a lot of people go 4-0. We also had a lot of people pick New Orleans and get burnt with it. Surprisingly (to me) only Simms and I chose the Texans to win. More people had faith in Tebow time (including Simms, who is in regular season form here, staying in last place once again)

2-2: JasonPierrePwned, Simms-McConkey

3-1: (NO Wrong) Plaxico Burress, BrooksBridges11, Telcochik2, sv1031, tommy d., maraman, edzilla, 1giantlion

3-1 (texans wrong) Willgfass

3-1 (Broncos wrong) Rorschach44, wangstu13, NJsandman

4-0: , TNYFBG, Amsterdam Admirals, Bobbiblue, Netsareboss, jcaliafiore, Larry Soprano

7-1: Larry Soprano, AmsterdamAdmirals, TnYFBG

6-2: Willgfass, Telcochik2, sv1031, Netsareboss, jcaliafore,

5-3: Plaxico Burress, Tommy d., Rorschach44, BrooksBridges11, maraman, wangstuf13, 1giantlion

4-0: Bobbieblue (no picks first week)

3-1: Iboogie25, J-man (both no picks this week!)

3-5: Simms McConkey

I had a thought that since there's less games the next two weeks, we could up their point value. For example, the two CC games would be worth 2 points each, and the superbowl 4 points. This would ensure it's competitive up to the end.

Going to put up a poll and tell me what you think

Poll
Should the Conference Championship and Superbowl be worth more than the other games?
Yes, CC = 2, SB = 4

No, all should be the same

I don't care because I'm in last and losing anyways

Defense

Wins championships….those fantastic, unstoppable offenses (Packers, Saints) got stopped!!!! 3 out of 4 teams in the playoffs have great defenses (for the Giants only when it matters). Elite QBs???? Brees-lost, Rogers-lost, Ryan-lost…Pretty much only Brady and Eli left. One has a great defense…Great game Gmen!!! Keep it rolling!!!

I don't think up to this point in this NFL season

there’s been a week where I couldn’t be happier picking the NY MFING FOOTBALL GIANTS.

And the Ravens too. We already got the Patriots. I want the Ravens and some more god damn payback.

I think it should be something like

2 pts for picking the underdog or away team or something like that because when ur this deep in the playoffs, home field advantage helps more than usual.

NY Giants all day

to beat the Ravens, get some payback, and get us up to 4 Lombardi’s. We gotta catch up to the Pack with their 4 trophies and leave the Redskins, Raiders, and Pats behind us with their 3.
