We got beat by a team better tonight. That's the reality of this league. It's tough. Didn't think it was going to end tonight.

Fair enough, not much to argue there
I’m sure he’d like to argue with his receivers though

Finally some credit
Our performance today was outstanding
Ha!
The first thing Buck, Aikman, and the talking head post gamers did was talk about how the GB team was no the same, rather than give the Giants kudos. Not that I care. We are in the NFC Championship game!!! Woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!
Go Giants!
thanks Arod
much respect to you

SEPT 25 - Giants 29 - Eagles 16
And yet
They banged Eli late on numerous occasions and never got a flag. Rodgers gets hit legally and they hit us with 15. Thank God we one that game. We’d all be VERY pissed with all the non calls, bad calls, and that fumble that didn’t get reversed.
Go Giants!
I'm still upset with those 2 blown calls...
but not upset enough to savor this win :)
but yeah, Eli gets hit helmet to helmet after he throws the ball and no flag…. REFs were ASS
Go Giants!!!

At least three different times
Matthews hit Eli after the ball was gone AND THEN drove him into the ground. Late hits, whatever it’s a part of the game hard to slow down a 240 lb grownass man when he’s running full speed, but it was the intentional extra drive into the turf that should be flagged. And then the audacity to call it on Rodgers on a COMPLETELY LEGAL hit is just appalling.
Strikeouts are boring- Besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls - it's more democratic.

Congratulations.
I won’t say good luck, because I don’t want you to have any and pretending otherwise would be lying. the Giants made plays; the Packers didn’t. If you get past the Niners, you better clean up the stuff in your secondary or do a better job getting to the QB than you did today, because I don’t think the Pats are going to drop ten passes for you.
Enjoy yourselves the rest of the way.

I'd like to wish the Pats good luck when they play NFL teams...
…as opposed to that crew they played yesterday.

This team is still getting better
Those four fumbles and pick were the difference.
I think that's a fair assessment.
BUT, not many QB’s can move like Jagger Aaron Rodgers. Brady or Smith would have been sacked about 10x each today.

I'm so happy about that
Seems like giants always have to play mobile QBs, we have Romo and Vick in our division and then have to play Rogers. Smith can run, as we saw yesterday, but none of the other QBs left in the playoffs will do what Rogers did to us today with his legs.
Go Giants!
Arguing on the internet is like running in the Special Olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded.
Yeah that's fair too.
Also Smith moved a little better on that end around than I would have thought he could manage.

To paraphrase Urlacher
Today Aaron Rodgers was a great running back.
Blue is the color of melancholy and honesty
Green is the color of inexperience, envy and nausea.
Really?
He completed 55% of his passes in spite of 10 drops (by Fox’s count), 264yds, 2TDs. If they limit the drops to the 2-3 that commons occur in any NFL game he’s over 60% and well over 300yds, and there’s almost certainly another TD or two. I’ll admit he had a bad day, but …You guys played a great game; no reason to get delusional.

Rodgers was bad today
A lot of those drops were added simply because they made slight contact with receivers’ hands, which isn’t fair. But Rodgers’ throws were as off as I’ve ever seen them.

Group effort
They were not in sync. But I think they were trying to speed the game up to beat the Giants pass rush. That plus the week off had them off their game.
Go Giants!
Yeah, they were off.
But catchable, and that’s why they get paid.

Drops don't help
But he missed arguably the two biggest throws of the game. One was just out of Finley’s reach and the other was thrown behind/over Jennings for a walk in TD.

the osi strip as well
Osi was right in his face, but we’ve seen him get away from worse pressure than that before to make the play. A TD to jennings there would have changed the whole game.
Go Giants!

He missed Jennings badly.
If you watch the Finley play (assuming we’re talking about the same one), Finley jogged through the route after his cut. The throw was off, but it was at least as much Finley’s fault as Rodgers. I think Finley was trying to settle in the gap of the coverage. The problem with that is that’s not his job on that route. If he runs through it, Rodgers hits him in the numbers.

Really.
The 2 TD’s he got were on drives that wouldn’t have occurred had the Refs got the calls right. The fumble and the roughing the passer calls were bogus. Not taking anything away from Rodgers, he had a great season but the ball doesn’t lie.

Osi!
Monstrous game today. I wasn’t here for the game thread, but I’m sure that was mentioned a few hundred times. That strip and then the second swipe that knocked the ball from under thethe O lineman was classic Osi. I wouldn’t want to play three card monte with him. Quickest hands in the east. LOL
Go Giants!
I can't describe how I'm feeling
This team has character, starting with the coach. If i hear any badmouthing of coughlin from here on out, i’m going to get ugly with you.
Thank you
all it will take is a two game losing streak next year and the termites will come out of the woodwork about him being “too old” and “losing touch with the players”. The man gets to retire a Giant on his own terms.
Victor Cruz is the 2011 Ahmad Bradshaw. He giveth, and he taketh away. Thankfully he is giving much more now.

A lot of people have been busting Rodgers chops
which I find baffling. Yeah, he was rusty, but damn, he’s a good quarterback. Most of those drops weren’t his fault, he did a great job keeping drives alive with his feet—and putting himself in harms way while he was at it, I might add—and he wasn’t responsible for the 37 points the Giants put up. I’ve got nothing but respect for Rodgers; he’s got a great career ahead of him.
BUT, I guess he’s no Tebow…

Thanks, and you guys are all cool too.
I know things got a little tense over the week before this game and I’d lying if I said this loss didn’t sting. That being said, it’s all a game and I look forward to a good one next week between San Fran and you guys. All the best.

Michael Boley
I said before the game that Michael Boley needed to have a memorable impact game. I loved when we got him and he finally made his mark last night. Two sacks, eight tackles and solid pass coverage. Go Big Blue!!!!!!!!!
