PrintReserve middle linebacker Mark Herzlich will be the only player sidelined for the New York Giants on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. Herzlich (ankle) is officially listed as out. Everyone else on the injury report this week is probable.

Ironically we are in better shape than many other teams in the playoffs with injuries at this point. Would love to have Tryon or TT for sure but otherwise this is a strong team going to Greenbay.

It's actually been a very good regular season for serious injuries
We didn’t put anyone on IR from September 10th to December 1st. After a terrible camp the most important guy we lost all year was Beatty. In 2007 we lost Shockey, Kiwi and Derrick Ward.
We had a ton of guys miss games but they’re all back.

the worst part for me
what the fact that we have a fumble overturned AGAINST us, the previous week, versus the Jests, when Kerle’s elbow hit the ground (or perhaps Ross’ foot, the replay was inconclusive, but I digress) and it was called a fumble originally then given back to gangrene
thats just one of about 5-6 examples
of how we’ve been screwed by replay this year. think about Ballards TD vs GB or Jenning’s “non”-TD. TC is 3 of 9 on challenges this year & we havent had one go our way in almost 10 weeks. granted a few of them were stupid attempts, but its just a pattern of how bad the officiating has been. & That doesnt even include the 2 awful calls in Denver & NO. Of the 6 holding calls made ALL of last weekend, 4 of them were called on the Giants.

is more a product of the improved blocking than his actual skills. everyone’s been running well recently. He’s definitely mr. reliable but we all know Ware’s skillset is limited. i dont consider a 4th down attempt that much of a gamble
especially when ur in that tweener yardage just outside of FG range or when u absolutely need to keep a drive alive. & i completely agree, be conservative 90% of the time. But we’re conservative 99.999% of the time. We’re more conservative than a condom is reliable. TC is so afraid of the possibility of a negative outcome he wont attempt even a simple misdirection, like a wr reverse, let alone a gadget play.

I had a horrible high ankle sprain
When I talked to the Dr, there is no ankle bone to break, the ankle is a joint, so when they say broken ankle I think it means instead of stretched ligaments (which I had) but also torn ligaments ( also had those).
If Herz has torn ligaments in his ankle no way he plays this season, also he high ankle sprain is also code for a lisfranc injury.

Funny..when I built this house..

Joe Namath picked the Falcons to win last week for the oddest reasons. Now he is picking the Giants to win Sunday… I want no love from any jet, don’t pick them!
And another thing, it seems because the national media is calling this game the trendy upset so a few of them are picking the Giants, most of the local NYC sports guys are picking the Packers because “no one is respecting this 15-1 team” and “the week 13 game between these two teams does not matter”… Ok… whatever.

The media seems split on this game…I was hoping to fly under the radar of the Tebow Magic attention..NFL Network has it 50-50…which is reasonable..but there are alot of people all of a sudden on our bandwagon..Frankly I don’t blame GB if they feel slighted, because in reality our team still has alot to prove..they don’t..we all know who they are and what they’ve achieved..I just don’t want them to be pissed off at us when we show up…haha..If Rex Ryan comes out and picks us, I’m going to shit my pants and puke…

I figured it out why the Giants are the hot pick
not because of how good they could be but because it makes them look smart. Here’s how:
-Point spread starting at 9 and now at 7 makes this easier to pick the underdog.
-ESPN expert picks the Giants to win, Giants win in a close one, expert looks like a genius because thats what he picked.
-ESPN expert picks the Giants, Packers win in a close one, expert still looks good because it was a close game.

I’m all excited..The Mets spring training camp is here in Port St Lucie..Digital Domain Park..about 3-4 miles from me..This year they play the Yankees, Detroit 2X, and the Cardinals..I’ll be over there tommorrow to get tickets..Can’t wait to see my Yankees and the other games…I take the kids to the ballpark every year..But this is going to be special this year..

Leave it all on the field..When I flew into hostile territory..and came back home finally..people would ask how could you do that..what was it like?..I’d joke at first and tell them I was shitting Twinkies..but then just tell them that it was my job..You think about your family going in, look at your wife and kids picture..and when the shit hits the fan..The only thoughts you have is winning and doing your job..focussed tunnel-vision..with only one objective..Hit your targets..What will be..will be..but you don’t wimp out..You got boots on the ground counting on you..You shoot all you have and fly out..Plenty of time to reflect heading back to the base..

Our defense will be the key to this game..
I still believe that ultimately in the playoffs..Defense gets you the win..Obviously they won’t shut the Rodgers machine down..just minimize the damage..keep him on the sideline at all costs..Our defense from here on in is the most critical key to success..
