The following Giants are inactive tonight:

LB Mark Herzlich
C Jim Cordle
DT Jimmy Kennedy
T James Brewer
TE Jake Ballard
WR Ramses Barden
DE Justin Trattou

by some divine miracle

Scott is active

by Drizzzy on Jan 1, 2012 7:15 PM EST up reply actions

Well...Nicks and MM must be fine because Barden is on that list.

Is he a healthy scratch? Is it weird that a WR is inactive when Eli may need to air it out to win?

I don’t know what to make of this so I will blame Eli.

I do not like Ramses being inactive

By Ohm Youngmisuk

Osi Umenyiora is active and will play against the Dallas Cowboys as expected.

The New York Giants will have the defensive end back after a four-game absence due to a sprained ankle. However, Jason Pierre-Paul will continue to start at right defensive end according to the Giants.

Wide receivers Hakeem Nicks and Mario Manningham are active and will play as well. Both were listed as probable as Nicks had a hamstring injury and Manningham had a knee injury. Both warmed up before the game and looked good running routes.

Wide receiver Ramses Barden will be inactive despite not being listed with an injury. It appears rookie Jerrel Jernigan will be the fourth wideout.

Tight end Jake Ballard will miss his second straight game with a knee injury. Defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy, defensive end Justin Trattou, offensive tackle James Brewer, linebacker Mark Herzlich and center Jim Cordle are inactive.

Let's Go Knicks, NY Giants, NY Mets & NY Rangers.

Even when they ar eout

he gets one or two plays. It’s not a big waste. If Coughlin or Killdrive lets him play a meaningful part of the game it’ll be a waste but right now no it’s not a huge loss.
