Did you read the venom spewed by Plaxico Burress in excerpts of an upcoming Men's Journal article that were published Friday morning by the New York Post? If you haven't I dare you to go read it, then come back and tell me you have any respect left for the former New York Giants wide receiver.
With all the bitterness he spewed toward Tom Coughlin, Eli Manning -- even Giants fans -- in this interview that was apparently conducted shortly after he left prison I can't believe he actually walked into the Giants' building and had a face-to-face conversation with Coughlin.
I was tired of writing and talking about the guy before I read this. Now, I am completely done. Good riddance to bad rubbish!
Among the darts he aimed at Coughlin were "he's not a real positive coach" and "He doesn't realize we're grown men."
How about growing up yourself, learning some things from being in prison for a couple of years and acting like one, Plax.
He says Manning "didn't have thick skin" and rips the Giants quarterback for not contacting him while Burress was in prison.
He rips fans who, he says, took pleasure in his confinement.
"What are you doing now?" he said. "You still mad at your job? You still angry about your life? ’Cause I’m back living my life and enjoying my family while you’re still doing the same thing."
Yep. I'm done with this guy. Win or lose, I will be happy to follow a Giants team he is not part of.
