Awesome win last week. I was particularly impressed with the game planning by the Giants coaching staff. The Giants sent a message to the league that the NFC East is wide open and they are as much in play as anyone. The icing on the cake was the Oakland Raiders running 70 yard stretch plays against the Jets on the West Coast.
This week's game is almost as important as last's. The Giants have a nightmare schedule going down the stretch. Injuries have sapped some of the teams depth and while the bottom of the draft and the UDFA's have stepped up big expect weeks 9-17 to be a real challenge. Don't give away winable games. Heading into Philly and handing it to the Iggs was in a sense "stealing one." A game we were not favored in. If we hold serve meaning sweep the NFC West we will be poised to win 10 and make the playoffs.
This week's game plan should be simple. Pound the rock. Protect the ball. Unleash our ends on Kevin Cobb and roll help to whatever sit Fitzgerald is on. Do this G-men. Win this game. Keep me pumped.
We have a season.
