Report: Michael Vick Out At Least Three Games
With his right hand broken it looks like Michael Vick won't play for a while. The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback will, I'm sure, continue to complain about not getting calls. I don't believe any of the hits the Giants put on him Sunday were cheap or late, though.

On the Canty hit
If he comes in standing up, it’s probably hemet to helmet and he gets flagged. And he pulled up, it looks worse cause JPP hits him and Canty stumbles forward
It’s already a wrap… might as well not show up tomorrow.

SEPT 25 - Giants 29 - Eagles 16
Canty hit
I did not think it was late, and Canty did hit him with a shoulder (and avoid hitting Vick in the head). You are right, though, it looks worse because JPP then banged into Canty.

You're analysis is spot on Ed.
Even after further review, BGN’s JimmyK agrees with you in that there were not any late hits warranting that type of reaction from Vick. As I said in an earlier post Eli had his face mask blatantly grabbed in the pocket which led to a sack. No flags. The woe is me act from Vick is obviously a product of frustration after having his worst game in two seasons.
Win ugly.

Vick needs to look at his offensive line
Canty came in practically untouched, it looked like a bang bang play, if anything Canty held back a little becasue he really could have hit Vick harder. Everyone in the league knows the Eagles O-line is spotty.

I bet he got concussed again too
and if Vick is whining about conspiracy theories, I have no problem saying that he really doesn’t have a broken hand, its just a cover up since he was concussed again and the Eggs let him back on the field too early.
Vick even said, we’re the NY Football Giants. How many friggin QBs did we knock out of games last year? And its not like Osi, the Sultan of Swat had anything to do with that.
Last night, a comedian died in New York. Somebody knows why. Somebody knows
My opinion......
I think he should have sat out this game but he was rushed being its the Giants who are riddled with injuries and an offense that can’t do anything right so it should have been an easy victory at home with season opener. My opinion.
+1 Vick looked very tenative out there
A couple he could have run for big yardage a couple of times and passed it up to throw to a receiver who was covered.

Oh Well!!!
Like I said pre game, if Philly wants to play around with their $100 million investment then more power to you. I understand the nature of this business, but sometimes you have to look at the bigger picture. Now Vick is hurt and out for however long?? It will only hurt Philly IMO, they should have rested Vick this week, he really didn’t look like himself anyway. Now teams will be keying on him more so when he returns.

What play did he break his hand?
I missed that highlight.
Well, good!
Hopefully he’s back by Week 11 so we can break it again.
(mind you, I hate injuries, but with Vick I’ll make an exception)
"Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."
LET'S GO RANGERS!!!
The sad thing for Philly....
Their best Qb is now in Arizona.
Quinn must go !!

The hits
were hits just like in any other game. There weren’t any blatantly late hits. He needs to realize that if he’s going to tuck the ball, run to the sidelines like he’s going out of bounds, then tippy-toe down the sidelines, he will get hit. If he does the same again, then passes just at the line of scrimmage, he’s going to get hit, and probably later than he’d like.
He is the unusual case because he is a running back and a quarterback, and because he has to be regarded as both, he will continue to endure such hits. It’s a lot harder to pull up on a guy who might tuck it and run, or hold on to it, only to pass at the last minute.
Because of his unpredictable play choices, this will continue. It has to, because in the defense’s eyes, it prevents a lot of excess yardage. Go for the guy and hit him is the plan.
Quit playing not to lose. Start playing to WIN! Geeez...
