Jackson gained 1,241 yards for the Rams a season ago and has six straight seasons of 1,000 yards or more rushing. Without Jackson, former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Cadillac Williams will be the featured back for St. Louis.

Reports from MetLife Stadium were that Giants' wide receiver Hakeem Nicks was on the field running pass routes as the teams warmed up.

A report also indicated that it looks like running back Da'Rel Scott, guard Mitch Petrus, tackle James Brewer and wide receiver Jerrel Jernigan were not taking part in warm-ups, indicating that they could be inactive for the game. Injured Giants Osi Umenyiora, Prince Amukamara and Travis Beckum have already been declared out.

No word as of yet on the status of Giants' defensive end Justin Tuck, who did not play in the season opener against Washington due to a neck injury.
