So I've been noticing, as have many, about the absolutely insane and hilarious things people say every day on various sites.
Most notably, Facebook, Yahoo Sports, ESPN, etc.
I don't know about the rest of you, but they have been very good for some epic laughs.
I thought why not just start a FanPost where we can post these absolute gems and have ourselves a good laugh at the expense of these great "fans".
I'll just start it off the top with, what i think is everyone's favorite already, at least for the past week.

gotta throw in SportsRadio callers. Its one thing to go comment on Yahoo, Facebook, PFT, ESPN, etc. All u need is an computer and a log in. But to call up a radio show, be on hold for who knows how long, then just scream out randomness like this

I pray that Jacobs and Bradshaw have a lot left in the tank starting at Thanksgiving as with a depleted offensive line, unproven receivers and Eli constant late season wind issues, I see 8-8 all over this team and 3rd in Division sadly

The site mods set the time that the comments remain open on posts on their site.
Over at Acme, they close after two weeks (up from one week after we complained last summer that a week was too short; too many ongoing discussions/debates were being cut short, which was very frustrating).
Last time I was at Buffalo Rumblings, they were closing ‘em after just three days (the shortest period I’ve seen)!

Tuck should be around a 90 in the game
But I dont think Madden reflects the game right. I play a decent amount of sports games (Football, Soccer, NBA, Tiger) used to play hockey but its just not the same anymore, Anyways I kinda wished that Madden would restructure the ratings as no player deserves a 99. Basing this off of previous Fifa titles I would like to see Madden ratings capped around 90. Then IMO Tuck would be around an 85 or so if the cap was 90.

not bashing you at all man and I can see some of your points. However, here are some of mine. I understand going with a younger line, its part of football absolutely but you ease them in to take over slowly. Having to have an OL “click” within two weeks of playing preseason is a tall order my friend. Just doesn’t happen overnight. Loosing andrews, cofield, siebert, and o hara hurt and hurt bad. Sorry you disagree. Bear as TE? Not terrible but boss and Eli had chemistry, boss was eli’s got too when he was in trouble. Now he’s not gonna have that same confidence in Bear. Osi I’m sorry blue fans is not the bad guy here. He had a hell of a year last year and was told if he had said year he would get more money. He worked for it now where is his end? We got a lot of work ahead of us, can we do it? Absolutely! And ill never stop bleeding blue but there’s nothing wrong with showing some unhappiness with your front office when your biggest rival is signing everyone and their mom and we seem to be one of the only teams that have gotten worse.

Vikings QB Rhett Bomar was arrested early Sunday on third-degree drunken driving charges.
Bomar also had issues with drinking in college, before his transfer from Oklahoma to Sam Houston State. Details of the arrest are unclear, but Bomar was booked near the Vikings’ training camp facility in Mankato, Minnesota. Already buried on the depth chart, the arrest will likely end his time with the Vikes.

As a lifelong fan of Big Blue, it pains me to watch this dumpster fire. That vampire coughlin should have been jettisoned two years ago and cowher or spags should have the job. What is their offensive line going to look like? Eli already is afraid to take a hit I can see him closing his eyes and chucking the ball up for grabs again this year. Grow a spine eli and step into your throws like a nfl qb is paid to do. Otherwise forfeit your paycheck you coward. If the eagles (and vick) stay healthy they will win this division in a walk. So the cowboys and giants will have to scrap for a wild card. I have no faith in coughlin and the questionable moves of the usually good jerry reese concern me. Seems like this team needs leadership, and that starts with the competent head coach, not a man who wears and cape and lays in a coffin at night.

As an Eagles fan,
I agree with Deseans hold-out. You may call him a 1 trick pony or whatever, it doesn’t change the fact he’s one of the top playmakers in the NFL, and a very large piece of our team.
For $560k to do what he’s been doing the past 3 seasons is just a rip-off, none of us would do that.. And I know we’re all not making anywhere close to that but $560k equates to probably a nurse’s pay compared to a surgeons.

Reese has failed to explain or even acknowledge the fact that he has not re-signed the heart and soul of the special teams, 2010 Captain Chase Blackburn. Special teams without Chase Blackburn’s leadership and skill is a disaster in the making. Not seeing the value in such strong leadership is more than ignorant on Jerry Reese part and very sad for the Giant fans.
So what does this guy consider the debacle that was last year’s STs? Which included Chase?
We paid a lot of money for PSLs and were promised winning teams. These aren’t the Bengals. These are the New York Giants and no expense should be spared to ensure we have a winning team. He talks about reasonable offers but we are paying unreasonable prices to watch this team and we deserve to have a top product on the field.
Was that promise on the PSL receipt? BTW I guess Bengal fans bought their seats with the full understanding the team will suck forever? Wait that might be true.

Don’t give me that crap about there receivers. Nicks is good but he’s a home run hitter and will not beat a double team which he will always have this year. He’s not going to move the chains. Those other two are okay in a 3 or 4 receiver set, but will be exposed now. Steve Smith is one of the top 3 slot receivers in football and the Giants f’d up royally. Plax was responsible for Eli’s big contract, and he’s just not the same without him. Eli is the one that should be under observation. He’s either going to kill himself or Jerry Reese. Don’t forget they also lost Rich Seubert and Shaun O’Hara so that should help. Giants win 7 games tops this year and the worst part is there doesn’t seem to be any reason for it. True story. Oh yeah can’t forget about Boss…well you obviously can because I did, but I’ll bet Eli didn’t.
While I agree with your evaluations on the risk of Burress and Smith, signing them appeared to be the Giant plan and they failed at executing their plan. The rest of their WR’s are mediocre at best. Don’t scare anyone.
I think their screwing around with player contracts has hurt them in their ability to sign the guys they want. If you want a guy, give him a decent deal and get it done. If you don’t, don’t. They have given guys half a’s offers and all of them have left

Diehl needs be moved back out to left tackle he’s been there the last 4 years. Boothe and Koets (not sure if he’s still with us) are out best options at left guard. Baas didn’t look so great. Domenik Hixon needs to be the 3rd WR and the return man. Defensively too much in the run game and tackling needs to be better.

I may have posted too quickly… they don’t be the Eagles twice… they lose the second time round. so in truth, they are a 5-11 team. What you homers fail to realize is that this team quit on Coughlin two seasons ago and what you’re seeing is an exodus of players who have a chance to resign, and the lack of interest in other players coming to NY to play for Coughlin. It’s why firiing him and signing Cowher when we had the window to do so was one of the great blunders. I’ve been going to Giants games since 1966 and for as long as I’ve been a Giants fan I’ve never seen a coach ploarize his players like Coughlin. Guys just don’t want to play for the guy and I think the way he approved the dismantling of the OL, the juvenile way in which he dealt with Burress, the way he negotiated with Smith in the press telling us all he wasn’t ready to play, and then check mates Uminyora because he can, will prove to ignite the mutiny this year and when the slide begins, and it will, the MaraTisch’s will see empty seats and paperbags and realize they can no longer stand behind Coughlin… in spite of the Super Bowl win. Everyone, including our aw shucks QB, will benefit from a new head coach who understands how to deal with the modern player. Not some guy who romanticizes a Lombardi-dictator approach to modern players. And I know you guys don’t believe it, but I’m a never say die Giant fan dying for a consistently great team that competes every year for a title.
