Kevin Boss now a Raider

Kevin Boss is now a Raider, so what are your thoughts? Some fans think it'll be a BIG blow to our offense... I think we are good enough to overcome it. Whats your take? Beckum will have to show up this season in a big way, Bear will share the duties in the FB and TE roll since we only have one FB. How do you think Ben Patrick will turn out?

Boss was a good player

but I wouldn’t want to overpay him. I guess it sucks that there’s not a cut and dry replacement, but I’m intrigued to see how they replace him. I’d think that Patrick will be the guy that lines up at the traditional TE spot, but Beckum gets moved around a lot and is more of our Dallas Clark type of guy.

I’ll miss Boss, but I think it now requires Gilbride to get creative, which is a good thing.

hey, I want to see guys from 2007 stay with the Giants...

I’ve got a soft spot for kids who delivered that SB victory.

Silver lining…Eli will have one less target to throw into triple coverage in the end zone…

Now that I think about it – let’s get rid of all our WRs! Nobody to throw to means no INTs!! Damn, I’m like a football genius over here!!

I'd like to see us add Cotchery

I’m tired of waiting for Barden/Cruz/_insert_WR to “step up”. Either play and show something or tell your story walking. We have two definite WR’s on this team. Clayton/Thomas are intriguing but can we afford to put our hopes on guys that were cut at the time by the dregs of the league who were hurting for a WR?

Cotchery would take the doubt over a solid #3 out of the picture and give our offense some stability. i don’t think we can afford the learning on the job crap again this year.
