Good morning, New York Giants fans! Some potentially good news this morning before the potentially bad news.
The potentially good news is that the NFL and NFLPA are expected to finalize the CBA today, meaning players could vote to ratify it and all of those free-agent signees who have been unable to practice should be able to get on the field by Thursday evening. Tom Coughlin will like that news.
Albert Breer of NFL Network tweeted that "It's not done, but they're expected to finalize the last points this AM."
Now, the bad news. Free-agent tight end Kevin Boss worked out for the Oakland Raiders Wednesday and could sign there to replace Zach Miller, who bolted Oakland for big money in Seattle. Boss apparently left the Raiders facility without a contract Wednesday night, but that does not mean Giants fans should relax.
