Terrelle Pryor Will Be In Supplemental Draft
The NFL has re-scheduled the 2011 Supplemental Draft for Monday, Aug. 22 at 1 p.m. ET. Former Ohio State quarterback Terrell Pryor will be eligible for the draft, but the league is not welcoming the disgraced former Buckeye with open arms.
In announcing that Pryor would be eligible for the supplemental draft, Commissioner Roger Goodell ruled that Pryor will be ineligible to practice prior to or play in the first five games of the NFL regular season after he signs. If selected, Pryor may negotiate and sign a contract with an NFL club, and fully participate in the remainder of the preseason.
The NFL notifiied teams of this action because of its finding that Pyor made decisions that undermine the integrity of the eligibility rules for the NFL Draft. Those actions included failing to cooperate with the NCAA and hiring an agent in violation of NCAA rules.
Other players eligible for the Aug. 22nd supplemental draft are:
- Torez Jones,DB, Western Carolina
- Caleb King, RB, Georgia
- Keenan Mace, DE, Lindenwood
- Mike McAdoo, DE, North Carolina
- Tracy Wilson, DB, Northern Illinois

IMHO
Perrilloux has much better potential than Pryor

Absolutely
I honestly like what I’ve seen from Perrilloux so far, he’s got a ton of arm strength, I was a little skeptical at first especially because he comes with some of the same issues that Pryor does its pretty hard to get thrown off the LSU football team, (but Pryor probably should’ve been kicked off OSU) I think Perrilloux has more upside I don’t see Pryor as an elite QB more of like an Eric Crouch or Armanti Edwards
Can we all collectively bargain not to be douche bags ?

I thought Perrilloux looked better than Cam the other night

when i hear supplemental draft
i think dave brown. lets sit this one out
LOL
Hey coughlin, heard there’s an opening in Cleveland. You should fit right in….. Loser!
I think Coach Coughlin should be fired! How come there are no locals in that line-up. Nothing to give the fans a name they know, nobody on that roster that went to Rutgers University, St Johns or any team from New York or New Jersey. And if the locals can’t get a shot on the franchise from the state they live in, why are we fans going to these games. To see some other state, and see our players play for foreign teams (other states) this is the first time in 20 years, the Giants don’t have any locals on their roster.

HAHA
The fact he went to Duke and didn’t play basketball should’ve been a red flag

Heh.
Funny thing: The Giants director of scouting was on Sirius this morning and one of the guys brought up Dave Brown. While he did say, “You got me on that one!” he also pointed out that he had a ringing endorsement from Steve Spurrier at the time. (For whatever that is worth.)
The draft and player evaluation isn’t an exact science, but the current group that does it for the Giants is pretty good at it. I’ll assume they’ll pass on everybody this time, but you never know.
PUKE
Dave Brown era is a dead spot in Giants history! Brown, Grahm and Kannel! What more do you need to write. Dumped Simms to keep that bag of s_ _t
Pryor.....
Im still surprised that he is willing to take the pay cut and come to the NFL haha

Lebron couldn’t and wouldn’t block DE’s. In his commercial he had himself as braylon edwards. Sounds about right. Lol.

How many teams run the wild-cat effectively anyway?
Its already wildly predictable, and most can’t utilize it effectively.
it works against the Patriots slow ass defense, that's about it

I'm betting Pryor goes to Arizona to back up Kolb...
Kolb gets hurt in week 1 and Pryor steals his starting position. Then, Kolb kills himself.
Let's agree to disagree - right after you admit that you're completely wrong.

King would be the only one
I’d like to take a chance on, but we’re pretty well set at RB right now
You down wit JPP?
With this Miami stuff going on....
How could they ban Pryor with a straight face? They didn’t want to defend that in court.

Pryor=rule breaker=pass
Why would we want someone that knows what is right and does otherwise?
That is for a SexieRexie team, not the Giants. TC would not do well with this type of person.
Perrilloux has a shot at being decent, let’s give him a try. We certainly have other issues to think about.
All the Giants should play like Mark Bavaro.
Tom Quinn Must Go!
It is equally worthless when people are always optimistic as it is when they are always pessimistic. Either way I take their opinion with a pound of salt because I know they only have one setting. I post my own thoughts, not what either side wants to read.

so Pryor is a rule breaker, so pass
and Perriloux, a rule breaker….lets see what he’s got? Got it.
