So, BJ restructured essentially for Bradshaw. O-Line cut to bring in Bass. Obviously, generalized statements, but makes sense, right? So, after reading a few days ago the restructuring of the D-Backfield contracts, that saved around $8 mil. or so, I think. Right or wrong, they decided not to pay SS12, so I'm left thinking what are they planning with this "leftover" $. I hope to God it's not going to Osi. And supposedly they were at the cap at the end of last week, so it shouldn't be for that. Planning on more injuries and thus having to pay free agents to come in? Is there something going on we're in the dark on? There has been plenty of that going around, so it wouldn't surprise me. Just interesting to think about, especially in light of recent...free agent news to put it nicely.
Now this is purely for fun and filed under never going to happen, but one thing came to mind after all this SS12....stuff. Hey Philly, once DeSean (I know, I cringe just typing his name) jumps ship after this season, how bout he signs a deal with the NYG. That, even in fantasy world, would be contingent upon him offering a heartfelt apology to each and every Giants fan, but then he'd have the chance to beat his old team twice a year. Again, I know this WON'T happen on so many levels, but it's the first thing that came to mind to f over the Eagles.
Just trying to brighten the mood since everyone has already jumped ship and given up treading water. I'm still happy for football and it gives me solace to try to think of the last team that bought an NFL Championship.
