Well we usually say that you need some years to evalute what grade you should give a team in their efforts in the draft so here it goes what do you guys think of Giants 2005, 2006 and 2007 draft

2005

2 11 CB Corey Webster LSU
3 10 DE Justin Tuck Notre Dame
4 9 RB Brandon Jacobs Southern Illinois
6 12 DE Eric Moore

Florida State

Undrafted Freeagents: Cameron Wake, Ryan Grant

My take: I would give giants an A+ geting three key starters with 4 picks in the whole draft and with no first round pick.

But look at the players we picked up out of nowhere Ryan Grant and Cameron Wake what would have happend if the giants had a little more patience? Is this something Giants needs to lear,n that they should be more patient with their low round/ undrafted rookies before releasing them.

2006

1 32 Mathias Kiwanuka DE
Boston College
2 44 Sinorice Moss WR
Miami
3 96 Gerris Wilkinson LB Georgia Tech
4 124 Barry Cofield DE Northwestern
4 129 Guy Whimper DE
East Carolina
5 158 Charlie Peprah DB
Alabama
7 232 Gerrick McPhearson DB
Maryland

My take: I would give this class a D+ We got Coefield in the 4th and was with Kiwanuka the only impact players from this class. Not a good class for the giants.

2007

1 20 (20) Aaron Ross CB Texas
2 19 (51) Steve Smith WR USC
3 17 (81) Jay Alford DT Penn State
4 17 (116) Zak DeOssie OLB Brown
5 16 (153) Kevin Boss TE Western Oregon
6 15 (189) Adam Koets T Oregon State
7 14 (224) Michael Johnson S Arizona
7* 40 (250) Ahmad Bradshaw RB Marshall

My take: An B+ I would give it an A if Ross would been a starting CB but he hasn't been showing that he was worth the 1st round pick. But if you look at the rest of the draft class everyone was apart of why the giants won the super bowl that yeah and Alford is the only one who isn't on the team so that's a big plus.

What do you guys think?
