Giants Are All Over Social Media

I received an e-mail Tuesday asking if I knew which of the newly-drafted New York Giants have Twitter accounts. I do, and the e-mail made me realize that I have not kept the 'social media' and website information for Giants' players up to date.

Well, that oversight on my part has now been corrected. In the left column you will find links to all Giants players I know of who are on Twitter and Facebook, as well as those who have their own websites. After the jump, you can also find the full list of Giants on Twitter.

By the way, your most active social media Giants are probably Shawn Andrews, Terrell Thomas and Steve Smith. Thomas and Smith are all over both Twitter and Facebook. If you know of any Twitter or Facebook accounts for players that I am missing, please let me know.

I know .. I put it there because he does have an account. He doesn’t use it, and that might be good. Manningham doesn’t use his, either, and for that matter neither does Antrel Rolle.

for the occasional side trip to foot in mouth drama.

I like the guy, but the faux macho soldier boy stuff and the lack of consistent judgment (with the media and in some coverage and angles) will get old if it goes into reruns this year.

Yeah

His food tweets are very clever. The man has a unique perspective on life. I recently stopped following him though. He will go on a roll and tweet thirty times in an hour and go to “Twitter jail”. LOL. It was a bit much after a while. Great guy. A big teddy bear type. Except on the field, that is!

That Marvin Austin Account is Fake

The account listed for Marvin Austin is not real. He did have a twitter account in the past, which was @ANCHORMANAUSTIN, but Twitter pictures he posted were the cause of the investigation in to him taking illegal benefits and the account has since been deleted. If you read the tweets, it’s pretty obvious that account is fake.
