Okay, before we get started, calm the rage, go into a zen like trance, and think about this for a minute.  Mocking the Draft has Leshoure rated as the 15th best player overall in the draft.  Here's a guy who averaged 6 yards a carry at Illinois over the course of his career, and did it in the Big 10.  He can catch out of the backfield and has great field vision. 

There, do you feel better about this pick yet?

I know some of you would have liked to see the Giants go Oline here... but simply put there was nobody of higher value at this slot at any position.  The top Corner backs, guards, and tackles in this draft are gone at this point, and its likely there will be some talent there in the third round.  The Giants likely won't sign both Bradshaw and Jacobs back, so RB is a high priority in this draft. IMO, Leshoure is a steal at this point in the draft and would have gone higher if not for the fact that the RB position is being undervalued has teams have moved to passing offenses.  As always, let me know what you think and I'll be back to get opinions on your third round pick in the coming weeks.
