FiOS1 to broadcast NY Giants draft show, 4/28

The NFL Draft 2011 will take place next Thursday, April 28.  For New York Giants fans who are Verizon FiOS TV subscribers on Long Island and in northern New Jersey, they can catch all the draft action and analysis live on Verizon FiOS1 starting at 9 p.m.  The show can also be seen online at giants.com and the Giants Facebook page.

Verizon's two FiOS1 channels in the metro area will air live the New York Giants NFL Draft Show, "2011 Big Blue Draft Night Live," with hosts Bob Papa and Amani Toomer.  This is the second year that the FiOS1 channels have carried the show, which is produced by the New York Giants.

During the 90-minute show, Papa and Toomer will discuss the Giants' position needs, their possible picks, what it's like to be a prospective NFL or Giants player, the current look of the NFC East, and more.  Former Giants quarterback and CBS Sports broadcaster Phil Simms and former Giants linebacker great Carl Banks will be interviewed for further discussion and analysis.  Reporter Anita Marks will keep us up to date with what fans are saying online on Facebook and Twitter and we will also have reports from Radio City leading up to and during the draft.

The show will culminate with the live showing of the Giants' first round pick, highlight film, and interviews with key Giants coaches.

FiOS1 is available only to Verizon FiOS TV subscribers on Long Island and northern New Jersey, never on old cable TV.
