Do we go after him? I don't see why not. I don't agree with paying him an astronomical figure, but the guy is a top three safety when he steps onto the field.
If Perry Fewell continues to run his three safety sets, this would only make sense. Plus, added depth in the defensive backfield is never something the Giants could do without.
Many will argue that safety is not a primary concern, but depth always is for the Giants (even when we have more than enough, it still doesn't quite seem to cut it). I'd take Bob Sanders' three games if his being on the field could be the difference three W's and three L's..
