Hopeful Draft Options

The Giants have many ways to go in the what position they would want to draft. I myself believe that they should focus on a linebacker, defensive tackle, or a all purpose back. By all purpose back i mean someone who can run out of the backfield on not just handoffs but also quick pitches and screen plays. This is something they have lacked for a while now since they lost Tiki Barber. The Giants are a very intelligent team when it comes to the draft, they usually tend to draft towards the best overall talent available regardless of what position it is. This strategy can tend to backfire as it may leave them with holes at certain positions. However it does usually pay off in the long run.

Some names that come to mind when you think of running backs is Mark Ingram, I think the Giants should select him if he goes as far as their pick, which i think he won't . Akeem Ayers seems to be the best linebacker coming out this year but this draft doesn't have a very strong linebacker class so they might wait till the later rounds to address that position.

At some point BPA is a fail

We need to make the team better. If it’s a DE the amount of snaps he will get will be extremely small which can be easily made up by giving JPP more snaps. And why would we want to take any snaps from those 3?

The only DE they should get in the first is Bowers.
