Dallas Cowboys Injury Update
The Dallas Cowboys have more than Tony Romo's hand to worry about when it comes to injuries as they prepare for Sunday's winner-goes-to-the-playoffs game with the New York Giants.
Dallas left guard Montrae Holland has a torn bicep and is likely done. That will leave Dallas re-shuffling its offensive line.
As for Romo, all reports out of Dallas are that the quarterback expects to be OK for the Sunday night game.

Romo's good?
Sweet, now we can look forward to the inevitable 4th quarter meltdown

I care not about who lines up on the Dallas offensive line...
…now that Flozell Adams is no longer on the Cowboys.

I wouldn't mind
If one of ours bangs their helmet into that hand and gets a 15 yarder, a penalty well worth it if it knocks em out the game

hopefully P.F.
doesnt take this as an excuse to use the 3 man rush…
I like last weeks game plan. Lets build on that!
I dont know about any of you guys… but when I saw Rolle and KP on the screen pre-snap, mind you at the same time!!! I was saying “about dang time!!” (yes I read the please use appropriate language post ed)
Giants are young, and injured... and loosing.
I did like video conformation of NY Giants safeties being on the field pre-snap.

Don't count on seeing them again
I only think Fewell moved the safeties up because he didn’t respect (justifiably) Sanchez’s deep ball.
He is so busy guarding worried about the big play that he gives up a ton of large plays instead.
Against Romo unfortunately, safeties will be back inhabiting another continent.

Please dont mistake... I am not running the P.F. Bandwagon
actually just the opposite… but saturday night, was the first time I saw Giants Defense. it was a welcome suprise. 4 man rushes… allowing Tuck and JPP to be single covered every once in a while. Our DBs played tight coverage… Even JWill and Prince has 2 reads per play…
I give P.F. credit for simplifing the game. not for turning a corner and becoming an HOF Defensive Coach. But as with most of the people here, we have been clamoring for simplification since week 3 or 4…
Giants are young, and injured... and loosing.
Yes that was sweet
Also saw a real live corner blitz. It was a thing of beauty.

Also, consider that most of tgier offensive weapons in Bryant, Witten, etc. are still intact so probably it probably won’t make much of a difference.

Stephen McGee scares me. Not because of anything about him, just that he’s a backup QB. We’re the only D in the NFL who can make any backup QB look like Joe Montana in his prime.
I'm down with J.T., Osi, and JPP.
He is not a bad qb. i know philly beat him in the last game but he had beaten philly last year.
With some pressure on him and the offense piling up points on the Cowboys, we will be fine.
lol...yup
were like the yankees facing some rookie pitcher who just just called up from triple A
Fire Fewell
I'm still snakebit from Vince Young and Charlie Whitehurst
I know it’s possible to beat him, but I’d rather play Romo, who we’re familiar with. Something about the backup qb just confuses the heck out of our D and throws them off.

My concern.....
we are in the same scenario as the end of last season. Last game at home against the Eagles, win and you are in the playoffs and we all know what happened after having a nice lead in that game.
Just cannot understand why playing at home is not always an advantage for us. Starting to to think we only won the Superbowl because we had the wild card and played all the games on the road.
I wish we could swap with one of the wild card teams, if we win this week.
A playoff game at home is not a good thing.
I'm down with J.T., Osi, and JPP.
If Fewell calls a simlar game plan to the one he called against the Jets
the Giants might blow Dallas out. It was refreshing to see less zone and 3-man rushes. It took Fewell long enough but maybe he has seen the error of his ways.

How exactly will we be seeded?
My dad is a big Cowboys fan (yeah I know) and we were trying to figure out the seeding. Giants will be #4 right? and play the #5 seed in the first round? Or are they #3 and play #6? Also, who becomes the 5 and 6? how is that determined? Will the Giants play ATL or DET?
From Steve Smith to Victor Cruz and Plaxico Burress to Hakeem Nicks,
so Long as Eli throws, the Giants will be fine.
I think everyone here can wait until the Giants beat Dallas and then worry about it.
but the NFC East winner is #4.
