Why Fewell just lost his team....Time for a change in HC and OC too.

Just read the article on Yahoo, where Fewell says his team quit on him on Sunday night. It says after reviewing the game on Monday morning, he realized the team had quit, and singled out Corey Webster in particular on one TD run.

If there is ONE WAY....to totally kill any motivation your players have for you (other than to pad their stats or personal pride in their own performance), Fewell just crossed the line by embarrassing his most effective CB who had become what closest resembled a "shutdown corner" on this team, and goes on to prove how badly coached and managed this team has become. Anyone that watched that game as it was in progress....either from the stands, the living room, or on the field, didn't need a Monday morning replay to tell them that the team quit. This was quite apparent to me by halftime, when a close game got quickly out of hand. Now...if you are the Def. Coord. on this team, and you just saw 2 halves of football where your DL had no pass-rush, could not stop a 5 '6" running back, WHY....does it take until Monday morning to realize that it HAPPENED? why wasn't there any halftime adjustments for the second half? why didn't you bring pressure via a blitz? Why do you keep your second best passrusher....Kiwi.....(yes...Kiwanuka) trying to make him play LB when we all know he's your second best DE right now? You put him at linebacker where he cannot react quickly enough to a run, and is overmatched (lets face it fans....he IS overmatched)....in pass coverage??? So on Monday morning tape review, Fewell decides the team played badly??? isn't that why you have spotters in the coaching booths upstairs...feeding you info??? Getting back to singling out Corey Webster.......yes...he probably did quit...on the TD run........so maybe the score would have been 42 - 24 instead...and MAYBE......JUST MAYBE...........after having to sprint up and down the field chasing open receivers that Brees was dissecting the defense with....maybe after 400 passing Yrds of coverage and 200 rushing yards of chasing...MAYBE he might have been a bit tired.......too. I am not making excuses for Corey...or any player that contributed to the debacle, but i CERTAINLY don't want the DC of this team, acting like OMG......my team quit!.......sorry Perry......YOU quit on this team, and Tom quit, and Killbride quit....

Tom../ Jerry Reese......how could you not have tried to resign Chase Blackburn after we lost Geoff..at the end of preseason??....Chase knew the system..is he ALL PRO??? NO........but he's at least had starts as LB, and even MLB. How could you turn this playcalling over to Greg Jones, then Boley, then Grant???
Tom, how could you let Dave Deihl be your LT, where he failed miserably last year, and almost got Eli killed in the process, you put him out there again....You chose to sit out Cruz early in the season, because you had what....Manningham?? and Hixon??? you sat Cruz all of last year........while we struggled with the Claytons and the Hagans of the world...You are now doing this with D'Rel Scott....yes..he fumbled.....so has Bradshaw, Tiki, Brandon, Ware, Ward and any other Rookie RB... but Scott might be the best back on the team right now. I recall last year we had some huge scores run up against us in the second half. I hope this is not going to be the same again....THAT tells me this team doesn't have what it takes to win, and when they don't win, they lay down. THAT"S on YOU coach.

Killbride is totally oblivious to the fact which all fans, sportscasters, and anyone who ever watched more than one game of football in their lives......KNOWS........the 2011 GIANTS HAVE NO RUNNING GAME.

Period... so WHY..do we have to suffer OVER AND OVER.....with drives that start as handoffs to running back, 2 yrd gain, handoff to RB, 1 yrd gain....or no gain......then 3rd down...pass, with the other team's defense's ears pinned back for passrush??? or 3 rd and 1, and hand off to the back (everyone to blame here) and NO Gain or a LOSS??? Are you KIDDING??? i could probably call the defensive signals against the Giants!!.... If i wasnt' a diehard Giants fan, i would actually be laughing at this.....but this is sickening to watch. it is unbelievable to me....how our strategy is SOOO predictable, that there is no imagination involved. To say that Eli is having a great year is an understatement. He is being forced to complete 3rd and long almost every series of downs....and this is without his go to guy from last year...yet he still manages to keep the team in the game....how many 3rd down conversions have we had via the RUN? probably 5 to 1 ratio........Pass vs Run on 3rd Down conversions.......Brees has the numbers and so does Rogers, but give Eli a guy like Sproles.......where a fake handoff can be taken seriously or a fake draw......

If this is so obvious to the fans, why is it Rocket Science to our brilliant coaching staff?????

This time, I want a change in Management, if this team fails to get into the playoffs..... Those that don't learn from history, are destined to repeat it. This is getting too repetitious........year after year........
