NFL Week 14, Other Games Of Interest

Stay connected for news and updates

The game every New York Giants fan cares about today is the Sunday Night Football meeting between the Giants and Dallas Cowboys. What is at stake for the Giants is only their season, only any realistic chance the Giants have of winning the NFC East or making the playoffs.

Before we get to the 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff, though, there are several interesting games to pay attention to.

Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers, 1 p.m.: The Falcons are 7-5, just one game ahead of the Giants for a wild-card berth. Could the Panthers help the Giants out here. LINE: Atlanta by 3

Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions, 1 p.m.: The reeling Lions are also 7-5 and coming back to the pack after a 5-0 start. LINE: Detroit by 12

Kansas City Chiefs at New York Jets, 1 p.m.: Has nothing to do with the Giants playoff hopes, but admit that you would enjoy watching the Chiefs damage the Jets' playoff run. LINE: Jets by 7

Chicago Bears at Denver Broncos, 4:15 p.m.: The Bears are also 7-5 and falling without quarterback Jay Cutler and running back Matt Forte. A little more Tebow magic would help the Giants immensely. LINE: Denver by 3

Enjoy the games, folks! Use this as an open thread for discussion.
