Fantasy Sleepers: D.J. Ware, Ramses Barden

Stay connected for news and updates

For New York Giants' fans, these two names I am about to toss out probably won't be considered sleepers. For most Fantasy Football owners, though, they are probably names that have not gotten much consideration.

Danny Ware and Ramses Barden. If you need a running back this week, Ware might be worth a flier. If Ahmad Bradshaw (cracked bone in his foot) does not play Brandon Jacobs moves up to the No. 1 running back slot. Ware, though, will likely see the majority of snaps on passing downs, and will get some carries.

With Hakeem Nicks apparently sidelined, Barden should also come off PUP this week. Since he has reportedly been practicing quite a bit with the first team this week you have to believe that if he is active Sunday he will be counted on to play quite a bit against the New England Patriots.

Both of these guys are worth a shot on your fantasy teams, even as one-week stop gaps.
