I am sure this headline got your attention, good....it was suppose to! This fanpost is NOT about the so-called
America's team or the Cowpokes as I call them, more after the jump.
No fellow BBV'ers this fanpost has to do with with another Cowboy team just due north of the
Dallas/Arlington area!
I am talking about the Oklahoma State Cowboys whose campus happens to be in Stillwater, OK.
I am not necessarily a fan of their teams (although I was pulling for their football team this particular season).
No folks, what I am a big fan of is something a lot more precious, that's called life!
With all the transgressions in college athletics these days (another subject for another day, and I digress),
my heart goes out to this university and the families and friends for yet another tragedy.
In case you didn't know, this university had to endure yet another tragedy this week following another
one a decade earlier. When I watched Oklahoma State alumnus and former hoopster Doug Gottlieb
talking about his alma mater, I could see the pain in his eyes. He happened to be in Puerto Rico covering
an early season tournament when I was watching and he recalled the events from a decade ago as well.
So while I am not generally the teary eyed type, and as most have you have noticed I am passionate and
some might say opinionated, yeah I said it (LOL)....spend a moment or two today thinking about "them".
I just thought in some small way, I would like to share this moment, now bury the 'friggin Iggles!
