Fantasy Sleeper Of The Week -- Da'Rel Scott
This week's 'Fantasy Sleeper' for the New York Giants has to be running back Da'Rel Scott. With Ahmad Bradshaw out for the second straight week and the Giants possibly using Scott on kickoff returns this could be the week the speedy rookie from the University of Maryland makes an impact.
"With the injury to Bradshaw, we have had the opportunity to work him. That has been a good thing," said Giants coach Tom Coughlin. "If he gets some opportunities, I think he has had a couple good weeks in practice."
Scott has just one pass reception and one run for five yards so far this season.
"He's a good player. We've tried to get some things formatted for him and it just hasn't unfolded the way we wanted," said offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride. "When we called something that we thought would go to him it wound up going somewhere else because of what the defensive structure was."
Special teams coordinator Tom Quinn announced this week that either Scott or Danny Ware will take over kickoff returns duties from Devin Thomas.
"He is fast so you would like to put the ball in his hands at some point," Quinn said.
So, opportunity is coming for the seventh-round draft choice. If you want to take a flier on a running back, especially if your league counts points for kick returners, give Scott a try.

So ...
If you had to pick a ‘sleeper’ for the Giants this week — which I am required to do because this is a post a sponsor pays for — who would it be? And we are talking about someone who is not a regular on Fantasy rosters, of couse.

A player can be a sleeper and still be on regular fantasy rosters.
Either way, I’m not taking a rookie RB on a Coughlin team who is currently third on the depth chart (due to injury) against the #1 run defense in the league when said rookie has recieved a single carry this entire season.
If you’re going to pick a sleeper, it has to be a wide out or a TE.

That being said,
due to the emergence of cruz and ballard this is undoubtedly a tough job for you.
If you’re going by your definition of sleeper, I’ve gotta go with Rorchach and pick Barden for the RZ potential.

I'll go with the Pharoah, thanks.

Why Barden?
When Nicks is likely to play?

is he gonna play?
even so I think they looked for Ramses 4 or 5 times last Sunday and that should increase over time. Also Ramses has a better shot at getting in the EZ

That's my all time favorite movie.
“No, no, no, YES, no, no, YES!” Love the eunuch scenes! :)
Oh how I wish they had actually made a HOTW Part 2. I love the preview with Dreidel looking Star Wars ship…“We’re jews… we’re jews in space…. we’re jews in space, defending the human race.”
Im going to have to say Barden. San Fran has a weak secondary. If Nicks is in the game they will bracket him.if hes not they will focus on Cruz. The league doesnt know what Ramses is yet. This should be his coming out party. Hopefully he abuses single coverage and is able to find the soft spots in zone.
Im as REAL as it gets. Even when it comes to my own team!

THE ULTIMATE SLEEPER REMAINS BECKUM
Reese hasn’t lost faith…….for some STRANGE reason Jerry loves this guy
And when Jerry has the ball and is playing QB...
I’ll start getting excited about them throwing to Beckum
My league counts return yards
And with Miles Austin out again, Scott sure sounded like a good W/R option to me. If he can put up 60-70 return yards and catch 1 pass I will be happy, from a fantasy perspective, with his performance.

With genius insight like this, it’s amazing Tom Quinn hasn’t been knighted yet! What brilliant, insider perspective
If anything Scott and Pharoh aren't just the best fantasy sleepers on the Giants, but in the league, imho
Scott esp. in a PPR with AB out for a while,BJ a wrong move from a knee the size of a basketball, and DJ Ware just generally sucking.
And you know HAM is now on the injury report as Questionable,Nicks on the mend and generally injury prone.
Pharoh has been around, has that red-zone size and we just are the kind of resilient team that just plugs wholes and always seems to have guys step up!
If your in a league like mine with waivers from Sunday 1PM til Wed 3AM and you have some low ceiling bench bums, you have to stay ahead of the curve…I got ’em both!
JPP Is th best DE in the NFL right now.
If Spags ever get's fired we pounce ASAP.
