I don't know about you but I am going to be in attendance and I am going to cheer wildly for this man. It is about damn time someone took a stand against this embarrassment of a coaching staff. Why Kevin Gilbride is still the offensive coordinator is beyond me, and I do not care what any of you say, Steve Spagnuolo and Eli Manning's play in the 2007 playoffs saved Tom Coughlin's job.
Tom Coughlin does NOT know how to coach the new generation athlete at all. His rules are completely outrageous and I just love Antrel's last comment that he made yesterday, "If Coughlin says I have to be there 3 hours before the game, I have to be there 4." Its dumb. In high school my coach did the same exact thing, making us sit in the locker for an extended period of time before a game and I can tell you Antrel is 100% right. You cannot make a team sit around in the locker room "relaxing" before a football game. If you havn't noticed we ALWAYS lose night games... must i bring up the Cleveland debacle from 2 years ago?
Antrel is also right on the money when he says there is no anger or frustration shown. Michael Strahan would have been livid screaming at everyone ranting up and down the sidelines after the Colts went up 14-0.... you know it and I know it. With Strahan's departure went the only leadership this team had. There is no fight in this team whatsoever. When things go bad Eli stands by Coughlin wining like a little kid and says nothing to his players. Justin Tuck keeps his helmet on and crosses his arms like a child being punishes, again saying NOTHING to ANYONE. I have no idea what Chase Blackburn does because the cameras never show him. All up and down the sidelines you see no action, nothing at all. Guys dont say anything to each other. Until this changes this team is going absolutely nowhere I do not care what players they have.
