I'll do this for two very stupid reasons: I haven't quite gotten over the misconception that people need to hear my opinion; and this will give people (Colts fans) something to laugh in my face about come January.
In any event, I'll put out my expectation for the season-end standings. I've only put records for division winners. Have fun shredding this:
1. New England 11-5
1. Ravens 12-4
1. Texans 13-3
1. San Diego 10-6
1. Giants 11-5
1. Green Bay 12-4
3. Vikings (no Favre)
1. Saints 13-3
1. SF 49ers 12-4
It would be pointless for me to just water down last year's standings so I tried to shake it up a bit. I've got only 3 repeat division winners out of 8 from last year. NFC's big gainers are NY and SF, from 8-8 to Div. winners. Big losers are the Cards and Vikes, who fall to average without their respective star QBs.
In the AFC big gainers are the Ravens and Texans, both 9-7 last year. Big losers, none really, but to guess Indy will finally NOT win their division is a bit of a wild stab.
Here's the part where you tell me I'm dumb and why:
