Giants Waive Two

The New York Gkiants today waived linebacker Kenny Ingram and defensive end Ayanga Okpokowuruk. The moves open the roster spots the Giants will need when they sign their top two draft picks -- No. 1 pick Jason Pierre-Paul and No. 2 pick Linval Joseph.

Phew! So much news today. You would think it is almost time for training camp to start.

Good now everyone on BBV can calm down....

Ed, members of BBV seem to be really concerned about getting these two into camp on time.

Me, too

I think Joseph will sign quickly. All the guys around him have signed, so the parameters are in place. And the Giants almost always get their No. 1 pick to camp on time, so I’m not worried about JPP right now, either.

I think they'll both sign tomorrow....

before this news of them waiving the two players, I thought joseph would sign Saturday and JPP would sign either Sunday or Monday (but still be in camp).

Now I think they’ll both be signed by tomorrow.

I really wasn’t worried though….they usually wait. I was kinda shocked when they signed Jones so early….

I've seen word Joseph's deal is imminent

so that seems fine.

JPP should get done soon too with Brandon Graham’s deal done. The Giants go to camp later then most as well. I can’t see any of these guys not being there for day one

I won't shed any tears

the cowboys have had good injury fortune the last few years. The pendulum has to swing back at some point.
